The job was completed in two days, Monday and Thursday. I requested the two days between to be able to have time to pack and move all items not furniture from one level to another. Michael Ignoffo, the owner, was very accommodating. He came out to measure and within 3 days sent me a quote. In less than a month the job was completed. Two men came (it was the same two both days) to do the job and they were very respectful and courteous asking me to be sure they put the furniture back in the right position.

Everything went very well from the assistance in choosing the right carpeting for the stairs to the installation of the carpeting.  We were kept up to date on when it would be installed and the crew who did the installation were very professional and courteous and when the job was completed everything was cleaned up very well.
We would definitely do business with Carpet Central in the future.

Mike first came to provide us with a quote. He was on time, easy going and a really nice guy. We were renovating at the time and told him that it'd be about 3 months away till we install the carpet. He said no problem and was able to give me a quote the next day.
Mike was always responsive through email and Luba from their store was just the nicest lady you will meet. We went there a few times to look at the carpet and was able to take samples home to compare.
After 3 months when it was ready to install, Mike was able to fit me within his schedule right away and they did an awesome job.
I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again (probably soon as I will need to fix up the condo that I currently live in for rent).

A perfect experience. We wanted to have hardwood floors throughout our main floor, stairs and second floor hallway. We chose Mike based on his great ratings and we were not disappointed. He came out quickly to give us a quote and offer solutions. We scheduled work within a few weeks and the results are even better than we hoped for. And the price was very reasonable considering the dramatic difference the new floors have made in our home. We'll be calling Mike again as soon as we're ready to tackle our next flooring project.

Excellent service and competitive price.  They arrived on-time to provide the estimate and drop off supplies and performed the work in the estimated time.  The floors are still in excellent shape 18 months later.  Very professional.  Highly recommended.

          The wood flooring and carpeting were all that I anticipated and more.  Both groups of installers were very professional, doing their work efficiently and expertly.  The wood floor in the main room makes the area look so much more appealing.  The carpeting in the bedrooms really complements the wood  floor- and feels so plush under foot. I also really cannot say enough about the installers helping me move my furniture all over the place.   The real "litmus test" was having my fiancé evaluate the work.  She also gave it rave reviews!

Did an amazing job matching the existing hardwood with the new hardwood. Would never know one was In 13 years before the other. Carpet is all nice, and gym floor looks great.

Mike was great- We have beautiful new carpet. Only wish we could have afforded hardwood... We had numerous flooring people out- Glad we chose Carpet Central. Very nice 2-day installation job. The pad was a quality, 8 lb padding and we appreciated that all was included- Furniture moving and carpet/pad removal. Only took 2 days.

Luba, the salesperson, Mike the owner and the installers were are helpful and professional.  
The store is fairly small, but the products are varied, both in type/style and pricing.  Luba was very helpful by showing me a number of options based on my description of what I wanted.  Once we decided on a carpet, Mike came out to measure very quickly.  The carpet the was installed by two very nice and helpful installers.  They didn't hesitate to show me options for installing against a curved tile floor.  And the seam in imperceptible.
Overall, I could not have been more pleased with the entire process.

It went great!  Michael not only measured and installed the new carpet perfectly, he also created a great rug for our living room.  Very responsive.  Highly recommended!

I obtained quotes from 3 companies on Angie?s list.  I chose Carpet Central based on the service provided.  The showroom has
a vast selection of carpet.  They were very knowledgeable and explained to me about the different carpet materials available.  I was able to take a few samples home and Mike came a few days later to measure and provide a quote.  I ordered the carpet and it was installed 8 days later.  The installers arrived at the planned time and did a nice job of cleaning up when done.  I had a few questions for Mike after the install and he was very prompt at addressing my questions.  The carpet looks great!!!  I would use Carpet Central again.

Recently bought a home and needed to re-do all floors on first level.  Choose finsh in place wood for all except sunken family room, which we wanted to carpet.  Looked at the big box stores and large flooring retailers, and saw a lot of forgettable carpeting. Found Carpet Central on Angies list, and were very pleased with the selection and service.  They have a relatively small showroom in HIghliagn park, but have very interesting colors, patterns, and material choices.  We were able to take home a lot of boards without a lot of fuss, and found a carpet that we really were not looking for, but was perfect in our room. MIke came out and measured, he was resonable on proicing (and gave us credits for removing the old carpet ourselves and moving the furniture), and his installers were detail oriented and did a clean job all around.  Excellent product choice and service - thanks Mike!

Great quality work.  On-time, on-schedule and on-budget.  Mike's pricing is very reasonable, and he is very responsive, friendly and professional.  Our carpeting looks and feels great!  Very pleased.

They were very professional from start to finish.  The result looks better than I could have imagined.  The area had been smelly and had been badly damaged and now it looks like a new cabinet .

We are new to the Chicago area so we relied completely on Angie's List recommendations for contractors to work on our home.  Our experience with Mike Ignoffo and his crew at Carpet Central could not have gone better.  Both the hardwood and carpeting crews were fast, efficient, and very professional.  We also appreciated the assistance provided by Luba in the showroom who helped us make our carpet and stain color selections.  Mike was very quick with the quote, kept us updated on the scheduled work, and was easy to reach whenever we had questions.  We are very pleased with the results and would highly recommend this company to anyone needing carpeting or hardwood in the north shore area.

I have nothing to report but total satisfaction. Beautiful carpet and superb installation and most of very affordable price.Carpet Central & Hardwood  will be called for all my future flooring needs.

Mike was prompt, courteous and professional.  He gave us great input on carpet selections that met our needs.  His installtion team was excellent, thorough and professional.

I called three companies and Carpet Central was by far the most professional. Michael came with samples and was apologetic about being 5 minutes late. I received an e-mail estimate within hours. I had to beg the other two guys to give me a written estimate and one suggested I drive to an inconvienent location to view samples. The installation date was set and the guys showed up and did a beautiful job. They even had enough trim to do a small extra project at no charge. I highly recommend Carpet Central.

The service was fine. He even let me take a look at stuff after business hours as I live kind of far away from their facility. He really worked with me as it took a long time to find what I wanted. Everyone comments on the work and how nice it looks. They are easy to work with. The selection was limited so that was the only issue but other than that they did a great job.
