Description of Work: They replaced 60 year old windows. It was a two-man team who really worked as a team. They were prompt, efficient, answered any questions I had, and a joy.

Description of Work: This was a complete gut and renovation of a 2 Bedrm 2nd floor apt. This included reconfiguring, reframing and insulating the entire apt including masonry work to close up 2 windows, change the back door placement and create a double kitchen window. It also included creation of a master bathroom with reconfiguration of plumbing lines. I paid directly to the vendors for the custom kitchen cabinets, vanities,counter tops, all the tile, wood floors and bathrom/kitchen fixtures (not included in above) Mark leveled the floor and installed hardwood flooring, installed all the kitchen cabinets, did all the tile work in the bathrooms, shower and laundry room. I have to say that I chose expensive hand made tile that was difficult to install since it is not completely flat and took at least 3x as long to install but it looks beautiful. He used 2-3 coats of Benjamin Moore paint throughout. He created closets and installed all the lighting and fan fixtures, new doors as well as french doors, and all the appliances and hot water tank. He put in top quality exhaust systems in the bathrooms and utility room. There was additional masonry work on the front of the building which actually had to be braced but his guy did a great job as did his plumber and heating guy (whole new duct system had to be installed for central heat and A/C). Mark and his workers are very neat and clean up after themselves. I spent a lot of time figuring out what plumbing fixtures and how to do the bathrooms, and Mark was very helpful to visualize possibilities and went with me to the plumbing supply store as well as Home Depot to help me pick out custom french doors with a privacy glass pattern for the master bedroom. I am very satisfied and know that Mark stands behind his work, is trustworthy, has done work on tenant apartments for me including a recent bathroom which I will review. This renovation was for ME to move into, so higher end details were important. I would have paid much less if this was a gut for a tenant's apartment.

Description of Work: Mark remodeled a kitchen and bathroom for my rental unit. It was a complete gut and included a walk in shower,cabinets, granite counter in the kitchen, tile floor as well as laminate flooring throughout the apartment( I purchased the flooring separately and he installed) and painting the entire apt. He also did a beautiful job redoing the hall stairs including staining the wood , replacing the handrail, placing new tile in the foyer and painting the hall. In addition he replaced part of the back decking and replaced the garage side door and the front door as well as installing motion detector lights.
