During the last week of January, a pipe burst in our basement and flooded it.  Our insurance company had a list of recommended contractors for repairs.  Casualty was on the list and the first to respond to my call.  An employee came to our house and assured me that they could dry out the basement and do all the repairs to put our basement back together within the amount that was quoted by our insurance company.  Repairs included drying out the basement, removing and replacing carpet padding, replacing carpet, insulating pipes, fixing drywall where the plumber fixed the pipe, painting the basement walls and baseboards, removing and replacing baseboards etc.  On that initial visit they set up some fans to dry out the basement and removed our carpet padding.  They said they would come back in a couple days to remove the fans and get started on the other work.  However, after a week and half, we had to call them.  We were told they had no one to come back and get the fans.  After more days passed, we called again because we had heard nothing about the fans or the additional work.  After a couple weeks, they picked up the fans and told us someone would contact us about the rest of the work.  No one ever contacted us.  After we called several times, we gave up and called a different contractor.
A month later a bill for over $3,000 dollars showed up.  The bill indicating that they had completed the entire job, which did not occur.  I contacted the company and informed them I would not pay the amount in the bill.  The president of the company then called and offered to reduce the bill by 10%.  I informed him that was not acceptable.  He asked that I speak to the guy who initially came to our house.  The employee LIED about the work that he said they did.  We are not idiots and could see what was and was not done.  The company president then sent another bill that was still inaccurate because it claimed they had done work they had not done.  After going several rounds with the President we agreed to pay more than we should have so they would not put a contractor's lien on our house.  What this company did to us was fraudulent and you should stay away from them at all costs!!

Yes, I recommend this pro
Their people were tremendous. They came out the next day and they worked really hard to save the dry wall in our basement. They left the fans to dry the basement. They were great to work with and very responsiveness.
