The crew at East Side Garage has performed various mechanical services. I drive a 2008 Volvo XC70 with 150,000 miles. Dave and his crew have fixed everything from the minor to the major. They change my oil, aired my tires, and give me pointers on how to make my vehicle look and perform at its ultimate ability all the while saving me the ever precious dollar. More importantly they have recently fixed a serious and potentially fatal breakdown in my steering and suspension system that I thought was going to make me get rid of my car. Dave and his crew replaced my radiator at a moment’s notice and even educated me on the finer points of owning a European vehicle. The crew at his garage is the real deal. They are unapologetic gear heads who want nothing more than to take your troubled vehicle and give it back to you as your beloved baby. If you want to talk politics it’s the wrong place. If you want to talk sports go to a ball diamond. If you want your vehicle fixed correctly at a very reasonable price by a garage that truly has integrity, than East Side Garage is the garage for you. Like a good doctor or barber, when you find a good one you keep them, East Side Garage will be the same. Driving a European vehicle like I do takes a certain level of expertise and tools. Rather than traveling to St. Louis to work on my Volvo, East Side Garage has the tools, knowledge, and manpower to handle such a sophisticated vehicle. Where others have turned me down in years past, Dave and his crew at East Side took the job head on and I’ve never looked back. What I love most about Dave and his crew at East Side garage is the fact that I know very little about cars and yet they don’t treat me like an idiot. They are not condescending, disrespectful, nor are they arrogant. They are respectful, kind, and courteous. East Side Garage will not create an issue out of thin air just to gain a dollar. I have taken my wife’s SUV, my mother-in-laws truck, and my brother’s truck there to get fixed. If it’s broke they will fix it. If it needs a maintenance issue resolved they’ll resolve it. They are mechanics who solve problems not create them. I will stand by East Side Garage as I do my own business. Dave and his crew are truly fine people and wildly talented mechanics. In today’s ever pressing world of one getting something over another. Dave and his crew are old school. They do what is right and quite often a little more just to make sure you are happy. I am honored to give this review and speak with the highest regard for Dave, his crew, and East Side Garage.
