Abbey Carpet & Floor

My receipt from this company says Abbey Carpet and Rex Rugs. I told the people that the seams looked a little bumpy and not flat but they told me to wait and let it settle. I had them come back twice and the first time they tried to pound it down with a padded hammer. I was upset with that because I didn?t want them to break the fibers. The communication was extremely poor. I called the salesman again and he said that I have a year?s warrantee but I believe if it isn?t corrected now, it won?t be corrected in a year. The person he said was going to come out did not come out. The man that did come out had even less communication skills than the first person. He told me that it was going to be fine but it?s not fine because I can see the line where the two carpets join. I?m not happy with that at all and there doesn?t seem to be any change with what they are going to do; that?s just the way the carpets are going to be. Everyone tells me to ignore it but I can?t ignore it because I can see it. I?ve checked that it can?t snag on anything but they tell me that it?s glued to the floor and glued together. The fact is, it isn?t a good match. The salesman might be terrific but the people he sends out aren?t doing their job. They aren?t about to rip the carpet out because of that seem. It could be worse but it could be a lot better. I am concerned about what is going to happen over time. After talking to other people, I think the carpet was overpriced. Initially they were responsive but that stopped.
