Corrigan Moving Systems

Great. On time, efficient, Courteous.

Very well for the most part -- we had a terrific crew the first packing day, a less solid but pleasant crew the second packing day, and a great unloading crew at the other end. Any damage we've had, which isn't much, was due to the work of the second team of packers.

So far so good. 4 man crew did a great job. I packed myself so can't comment on tat. I am having items stored then moved crosscountry. Will update in 6 months when service is complete. Moving an entire house but with downsizing to 2-3 bedroom apartment to get an idea of cost. I am storing for 6 months and had about 6000 lb of stuff.

Took delivery in MO in February. The guys doing the delivery were FANTASTIC! They were courteous, contacted me in advance, good communicators and very professional. Helped me arrange my furniture and were very patient. All my things were in good shape except for a broken TV tray stand. This had been snapped in 2 but I received full payment for replacement without a hassle. My valuable antiques (which are also very fragile) arrived in great shape. No problems there. Overall a very painless experience. I could not be more pleased.

This is our third move with them so we have been very pleased. They are very dependable, very careful and they are always on time.

I was really impressed with the outcome of this move. I had read a great review of the company on another site, but Angies had it graded as a B based on one review. I decided to go with Corrigan after meeting with one of the family members who came to our place to give us an estimate. She explained everything to us in detail. Although Corrigan is part of a larger business, it is still family-owned and operates with its finger on the pulse of every move. They gave us the moving date we wanted, and delivered when they said they would. Any questions we had along the way were answered immediately. They worked quickly and carefully, and did the same at the destination. We had some heavy, fragile pieces, and a piano which they took great care with. At the destination point, they again worked efficiently, and put all the contents where we wanted them, often going up two staircases with heavy furniture and boxes.
I am convinced that no other company could have done this move better. The other reviewer mentioned that Jose was excellent. He certainly was, and even refused a tip saying that the fact that we were so satisfied was his tip. We couldn't get him to change his mind. Now that says it all! Integrity, fairness, transparency, congeniality, professionalism, knowlege.

The movers arrived as scheduled to pack our belongings. They were very quick to pack, and everything arrived in adequate condition -- they probably didn't pack things as carefully as I would have, but nothing was broken or damaged in the process. The next day, they loaded the truck with everything. We only had minor complaints -- opening our third floor window to toss unused boxes out into the front yard instead of carrying them down and leaving the window wide open (and damaging some flowers below), leaving cigarette butts on the sidewalk, etc.

Our belongings were delivered a week later. The driver, Jose, was phenomenal. He and his partner when out of his way to make sure nothing was damaged, that everything was placed where we wanted it (even if we changed our mind), and even made an extra trip to put some of our things into storage. His excellent customer service was greatly appreciated.
