It has gone and continues to go great. We moved to Downers Grove and she is still willing to clean for us! We hope she cleans for us for forever :-)

She is always punctual and I like that she can be flexible with everyday things like sickness or remodeling clean up. She always communicates any problems with me, which I appreciate.
We trust and are very happy with her. There have been several times where we have misplaced things like jewelery and she found them during cleaning and brought them right to us.

Beata Michalik is the owner. She has been cleaning for us for a couple of years. They dust, mop, clean the toilets, sinks, showers, oven exterior, clean out the microwave and take out the trash. For the work the do and the price I give them an A.

The house was being packed for moving, showings for sale, while living in it and my health conditions requires me to hire outside services. There was too much laterality in the appointment time. One scheduled appointment was a 'no show' altogether. With a follow up call, a second appointment was scheduled. The crew was late by over an hour. The house was cluttered with boxes and things. The introductions were pleasant. The guided tour was also clearly marked for what needed to be done. The owner indicated what could be done on the current visit and what needed to be done later. I had anticipated three people and two arrived so there was a limit as to what could be done. Each visit cost $80 which was the price I expected. I was so grateful to get the work done from the first visit I gave them a tip. It was later I went around to find what actually was the result. I anticipated more would get done but with only two people, it couldn't. The only reason I requested the crew to return was to finish previously unfinished items and to give them an additional opportunity to show their best. After all, getting up the major dust bunnies made the house look better. However I just can not overlook what was left undone, or what was done poorly. I was grateful for the help, yet I would have liked more professional results and passed up help from teenagers in our family who could have provided the same level of help I feel I got. We sold the house. I'm having another crew come in after the house is empty to leave it nice for the new owners. I have never used a home cleaning service before this. Perhaps my inexperience in finding the right fit for a service was my own fault. Thanks.

"The only advice I have for the member is not do get a cleaning service while construction is being done at the time we are to clean. There was sanding going on at the time of us being there and most of the rooms we were unable to get into yet alone clean the floors. It is better to have a cleaning done once the house is empty and without clutter."

They did the cleaning work after some construction. They did a nice job and the price charged by them was reasonable. They were prompt and friendly too.

Did not go well.......worker did a great deal of damage....result party of 150 people and downstairs bathroom totally out of order......n o t g o o d...........owner did come over with two woman and redid work...however the one woman who was there previously did much damage... Glass top... Lamp... Light fixture... And most of all put toilet out of commission... Owner paid for glass top... Reduced price by 10 percent... Which would be $18.00 mmmmmmm wow... And said with proof would pay for plumber... I have her proof... Experience very bad. **REBUTTAL TO SERVICE PROVIDER RESPONSE** 1. I NEVER ASKED FOR THE SECOND COMPANY'S APPOINTMENT BECAUSE THE FIRST WAS SO POOR. 2. CLIENT HAD TO PICK UP THE GLASS, NOT THE COMPANY. 3. FLOORS WILL FILTHY AND NEVER WASHED. THE BATHROOM HAD SOFT SOAP IN IT ONLY, NOT BAR SOAP. 4. I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER FOR 3 YEARS AND NEVER GIVEN A COMPLAINT ON A COMPANY.

"I am disputing the report submitted by this member. Her statements in the report seem unfair since I thought I did everything I could to make her happy and she rated me even before giving me a chance to resolve the problem. I make sure all my customers are happy before we leave and if their not I will make sure they are. We arrived at her house on June 4th at 8:00 am & the client walked the girls through the house. She showed them what she wanted done and they got to work. The customer had 3 girls working from 8 am to 11am; 9 working hours and a total of $180. When the girls finished the basement the client said everything was fine. The girls overheard the client telling her granddaughter that the check amount should be around $80; the girls where already there for 2 hrs which is a total of $120. The client called me at 12:54 pm screaming and yelling that she paid $180 and only wanted two girls. I advised her that two girls would be there the same amount of time. She said her bathrooms were cleaned the night before and the girls were just supposed to Windex them. The girls said they spent 1 1/2 hrs in each bathroom because the showers were full of soap scum. The client did not say she just wanted the showers Windexed. I could not get anywhere with the client since she was screaming and yelling so I waited and called her back at 12:55 and at 1:19 and finally got her at 1:20pm. I asked what I could do to make her happy she said I had to come there right now. I went to her house to check. I think I was very responsive. When I got to her house I identified few things the girls missed. The girls came back to redo the things she asked to be redone. Unfortunately, while they were redoing two small window sills, a lamp fell breaking the glass top of an end table. The client understandably got very upset. I told her I would take care of it. She checked the house and said the floors looked good. I drove the client to the glass place where I paid $75.00 for the piece of replacement glass. As we were driving back to her house, she said at least I stand behind my work. I said I do as long as I am given a chance to resolve the problem. I found it strange that she asked me how much I would charge to clean her house again given the circumstances. She also said stopped payment on her check that I brought back and asked me to pay the bank fee. I advised I didn't ask her to stop payment and wouldn't pay for it. She asked me to pay for half of it then. Again, I would not since she should have tried to resolve this with me in the beginning. I was told I would have to deal with her husband from now on. I dropped her off at her house. I called at 3:51pm to see if he was home so I could pick up my check since I have to do payroll and I prefer to get paid when the work is done. She told me to call her husband at 5:30pm. I called her at 5:49pm and was told the check was ready. I got to her house at 6:10pm and she handed me a check for $147.01 rather than $180. She deducted a 10% senior discount she said my website showed and $14.99 for a light bulb to replace the one in the lamp that fell. She said she will pay for the stop payment. Again, her statements in the report seem unfair since I thought I did everything I could to make her happy. To make matters worse, seven days after the job, the client accused my girls of throwing a bar of soap in her toilet. I asked her what would be the purpose of her doing this she told me she had nothing to say and hung up on me. Service Providers BEWARE on working for this member."

Beata and her team are wonderful! They stand behind their work and always make sure their customers are pleased with the work they've done. I contacted Beata after being displeased with larger cleaning chains not paying attention to the smaller details...regardless that I pointed out my concerns on our initial meeting with the company representative and being assured these issues would be addressed. Beata gave me a quote over the phone and came within the week. Her team attended to all of the details that concerned me, including moving ALL of the toys in our 900 square foot playroom and vacuumed every inch of carpet to get cookie crumbs, per our request. That is a big task! We also asked that they wipe down all cabinets and clean the floor on their hands and knee's, not a mop as this does not get up the stuff my son throws on the floor. Beata had no hestitation when I gave her my list of particulars. She is very trustworthy -with me often leaving the house to run errands when she is here cleaning. If you do have any concerns, she does not hestitate to return to fix them issue and welcomes suggestions to make her cleaning to meet your standards. Definitely recommend! (My toddler son also loves her and her staff!)

We wanted to thoroughly clean our house in preparation for putting it on the market in a week or two. I phoned and asked about cleaning baseboards, etc and was told that would be included. When given the price of $20 per hour per person, I was also informed that "green cleaning supplies" would be $10 extra. That additional fee surprised me, and I said no to green. :-( We appreciated that they promptly lined up an appointment to clean for us. 3 gals came, including the owner. They were very sweet, kind, delightful people. It was clear ours was one of several homes they had to clean that day, and they seemed very rushed. Before leaving, they asked if everything was up to our standards, and they seemed ready to please. I briefly walked thru, noticed that some pictures still had dust on the top (tho I had seen them dust other pics), so they cheerfully corrected the omission and left. Total time in the house: 1 hour and 15 minutes (times 3 workers equals 3 hours and 45 minutes.) Afterwards, I noticed a few disappointments. There were blatant dust balls in the family room under a table you can readily see under. There was a lot of dust under the 2' by 3' door mat in the kitchen/family room, so it was clear that in washing the wood floor that small rug was not moved. The top of the refrig was totally dusty. The baseboards of the master bedroom were also totally dusty - not touched. I still haven't checked other rooms to see if that's the case there, too. I'm confident these gals would offer to come back and fix these omissions if I asked. However, I'm not comfortable "hand holding," if you will. I really wanted a company that is familiar with what is desired when trying to thoroughly clean a house for selling it. For normal housecleaning, I'd consider hiring them again, but I'd be very clear about expectations.

Great experience. Beatta was professional, punctual and competitively priced. She (and two employees) came exactly when she said she would (even called the night before to confirm) and did a quick and thorough job. Absolutely Kleen is the best housecleaning service I've tried so far-and I've tried several. This was a one-time cleaning, but we might make it a monthly expense! Thanks!

As above, we only know all this as we have two large dogs, and someone had to stay with the dogs while they cleaned, then come back to our office. I called Beata as I was quite aggravated that the house looked liked it had never been cleaned, very, very dusty, floors dirty and many other items. I explained my dismay to her and said for one hundred dollars (and we would have done this with her weekly) I surely did not and am not getting my money's worth. Long story short, she apologized, offered to take some money off the next visit, etc. I said thank you, however I would pass as the past two times they'd been there, the house was not properly cleaned. Bottom line, she is a very pleasant and professional person and responds promptly to your call, but for the money, I have gone with another group found also on Angie's.

THE FIRST THING IS THAT AN ESTIMATE WAS NEVER GIVEN, I ADVISED THE CLIENT THE FIRST CLEANING IS A PER HOUR PER PERSON CLEANING SINCE WE DO NOT KNOW THE CONDITION OF THE HOUSE. THE CUSTOMER PAID $120 FOR THE FIRST CLEANING FOR 3 PEOPLE WE WERE THERE FOR 2 HOURS WHICH IS A TOTAL OF 6 WORKING HOURS OF CLEANING. THE FLAT RATE WAS GIVEN AT THAT TIME OF $100 PER CLEANING. THE 2ND TIME WE WERE THERE (AND THAT WAS THE LAST TIME WE WERE THERE) WE WERE THERE FOR 2 1/2 HRS A TOTAL OF 5 WORKING HRS FOR TWO PEOPLE WHICH EQUALS $100. THE CUSTOMER'S SON WAS AT THE HOUSE AND WHEN I DROPPED OFF MY EMPLOYEE I ADVISED HIM THAT I NEEDED TO DROP OFF THE OTHER GIRLS AND WOULD BE RIGHT BACK, WHICH I WAS IN 25 MINS. THERE IS NO LACK OF HELP I ENJOY MY JOB AND THAT IS WHY I CLEAN WITH THE GIRLS. WHEN THE CUSTOMER CALLED ME AFTER THE 2ND AND FINAL CLEANING SHE ADVISED ME THAT THE POWDER ROOM SINK COUNTERTOP DID NOT HAVE ALL THE PICTURES AND FLOWERS REMOVED BEFORE THE DUSTING AND THAT IT WAS JUST DUSTED AROUND I ADVISED THAT I WOULD BE BACK AND REDO IT. THERE WAS NO MENTION OF THE OTHER THINGS MENTIONED IN THE REPORT. HER SON WAS ACTUALLY TELLING US WHERE THE RUGS GO BACK SINCE THERE WAS MANY OF THEM AND THEY WERE ALL PULLED OFF SO WE MAY WASH THE FLOORS, ALSO I ADVISED MY EMPLOYEE NOT TO CLEAN THE MASTER BATHROOM AS I WANTED TO DO IT SINCE THE BATH TUB PER THE CUSTOMERS REQUEST NEEDED TO BE CLEANED WITH A TOOTHBRUSH. I GAVE THE CUSTOMER $30.00 OFF THE NEXT CLEANING FOR THE THE DUSTING AROUND THE SINK COUNTERTOP IN THE POWDER ROOM. SHE SAID SHE WOULD THINK ABOUT IT AND CALL ME BACK. IT IS HARD TO NOTICE A CLEAN HOUSE WHEN THE DOGS GET RELEASED FROM THEIR ROOM WHEN WE LEAVE AND YOUR SON IS AT HOME. THE TRACES OF THE VACUUM WILL NOT STILL BE THERE WHEN YOU GET HOME."

Breata and Monica arrived on time and asked for a tour of the house and any cleaning issues that were needed above the standard dusting, mopping and vacuuming. Our home has over 100 pictures on the walls and they were very thorough about dusting them. Breata cleaned our hardwood floors on her knees! They finished in just over 2 hours and will be returning as our permanent cleaning team.

I had out of town guests coming in the afternoon on a Saturday. I contacted her by email about a week beforehand. She replied quickly with an estimate for her service. I asked Beata if she could start at 8am on that Saturday and she and her associate were there on time and ready to work. Everything was cleaned very well and it took a load of stress off my mind. One less thing to do. I appreciate their work and would hire them again.

Everything went GREAT. Everyone has a few areas that they are very particular about and we discussed them and they were done correctly. They are more interested in your satisfaction with their work than the extra time it might take then to do the job the way you like it done.
