Excellent service. They were timely and professional. They were very accommodating.

This is the second time I have used Evergreen and once again, they did not disappoint. I am very pleased with the end result and would not hesitate to hire them again. I gave them a N/A for price because I did not have anyone else quote this job so I can't make a cost comparison but I did not hire them based on price, I hired them based on my experience with the first time I hired them (they installed a retaining wall and a paver sidewalk). they did a great job both times and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The design and plant choices were tasteful, remarkably beautiful and excellent local varietals. The designer/project manager was approachable, prompt and informative. The installation team was highly professional and knowledgeable. Follow-up inspections were also very helpful. Over all experience for this large of a project was unmatched to previous experiences and I would highly recommend Evergreen.

EverGreen Landscape Associates were really nice and did a good job. When we moved into this house a few years ago it was just built. When the previous house owners put in the sprinkler in the front yard they did not wire it correctly and it started corroding and EverGreen Landscape Associates corrected that problem also even though he did not have to. So he corrected another person's mistake and did his own work too and did it well.. He went that extra mile by coming in on a Sunday afternoon to see if it worked properly. I would definitely use them in the future.

I just liked the guy from another company better but it's hard for me to quantify the reasons. Their prices were not as good as the other company as well. We had a woman from Evergreen and we had a separate deck guy. She and our deck guy just didn't get along. It's really hard for me to put it into words. I just had a feeling that we should have gone with the other company. Evergreen came up with a really cool design concept and we didn't feel like we could use their design concept and have somebody else do it for us; we didn't think that was fair.

My overall experience with Evergreen Landscaping was excellent from start to finish. I received a response to arrange an appointment with a designer the same day I sent Evergreen an e-mail. Rebecca, our Evergreen designer, took time to explain the entire process and listened intently to our needs and ideas during our initial meeting. It took about a week for her to create the landscape design, which we discussed in a second meeting at my home. She showed me detailed drawings of the landscape architecture with photos of the various plants she had selected. We also discussed the price and anticipated installation date. Even though she said that installation could be delayed by weather, which is to be expected, ours occurred on time...about a month after signing the contract upon her second visit. The crew did a great job, carefully transplanting some valued plants I hoped to save to another location, while creating the new design. Although the plantings proceeded flawlessly, there were issues with the fountain. The first issue was related to the pump, which did not have enough pressure to allow water to flow out of the bowl, which was quite large. The second issue was with the finish of the fountain, it was finished on the outside, but not on the inside...in fact, there was an ugly paint drip line toward the top of the bowl. The dark color on the outside of the ceramic fountain contrasted with the light unfinished inside (drip line making it look worse) which gave it an unfinished look. PVC pipe used to transfer water to the top of the bowl made it look even worse. It certainly didn't look like a $1,400 fountain. Rebecca was on top of the situation; though, getting the manufacturer to replace the pump immediately. She also worked to get the manufacturer to address the aesthetic elements, but, wasn't as successful. This particular manufacturer specialized in producing pots for plantings, which they also sold as fountains with "conversion kits". Their brochure was misleading because it didn't show the unfinished inside or the PVC pipe, but, they refused to replace the pot or PVC, citing their strict no refund policy for anything converted to a fountain. Rebecca worked hard to resolve the issue and in the end her creativity saved the day. She fixed the fountain herself by installing a scaffold topped with Mexican pebbles toward the top of the bowl. The result is beautiful, even better than I had envisioned the original fountain. We have been enjoying our new landscaping for over a month and we love it. We adore the hydrangeas that border the sidewalk, we love the service berry tree that attracts birds into the yard, the stonework is amazing. There's such diversity in the plantings throughout, yet everything works together. She even incorporated dark red bushes to match the mohogany front door and the stone incorporates elements of the house. It all works beautifully together. Rebecca is a true professional and a pleasure to work with.

Rebecca came out and gave us an estimate for both a 3 and 5 tree plant bed. It was a bit on the expensive side - so she reworked the numbers and came up with a 3 tree planting for just under $1100. After placing a deposit it was just a matter of a few weeks before they installed the trees.

Landscape designer Asta worked with all our ideas and provided excellent advice and supervision for the project. The crew worked hard and diligently and cleaned up daily. When one part of the project wasn't proceeding as planned in my opinion, they were responsive to my concerns and changes were made to my satisfaction. I recommended Evergreen to a family member for a more extensive landscaping and hardscape project and the results of that project were excellent. Responsive and pleasant to work with.

We haven't done much maintenance on our landscaping for several years, so the situation was pretty dire; the place looked as though it had been abandoned. I called, received a fairly prompt and very courteous reply. Since Evergreen was the first company I called for an estimate, I didn't know what to expect, but in later comparison with others' prices, the cost turned out to be fair and reasonable. The work was done as promised, and most importantly for our needs, when it was promised. The workers were quick and efficient, and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. They might have been a touch more aggressive in the pruning than I would have wished, but that may have been unavoidable, given the mess they had to deal with. I would certainly hire again, and very likely will.
