Cameron Heating Cooling And Plumbing

We had purchased a hot water heater from a big box store and decided to have it installed to take advantage of a NICOR rebate.  The first hvac company I called gave me a quote of over 450$.  With that price we were going to do it ourselves.  I found Cameron HVAC on Craigslist and decided to give him a call.  He gave me a quote of $200 plus any additional parts. The parts totaled 25$.    He came on time and did great work and was fair in pricing .  I would call him and refer him anytime.

Everything went better than expected.

He is kind of a funny person with a good sense of humor.  He likes to talk a little bit, but he repaired something which didn’t need to be repaired.  He was down in the basement, cleaning the furnace and one of the pipes above was leaking and he said he would fix it, since he was there already, I then told to go ahead.  He also took care of my daughter’s air conditioning unit where she lives and it’s a town home.  He found that they had put a wrong cap, while they built it, which was to do with the air conditioner.  He then told that it must be leaking because of the wrong cap and the next door neighbors said they were having the same problem, too.  He then went there to check the cap and found the same caps.  He said that they have wrong caps on them and this will cause a leakage.  We then passed on the information to the neighbors, as they were still having problems with heating and they were very happy, after we told them.  He also put in a kitchen sink and a faucet for my daughter.  He basically does a lot of things that are handy.  The pricing is very reasonable and he doesn’t price it on how far he has to travel.  We were just impressed with his price and he fixed the thing he came for, but fixed another thing in additional.  He did call and tell us that he is on his way.  He also called us back, to tell us that an elderly woman called him, saying there was no heat in her house and wanted to know if we would mind to change the appointment.  He was concerned for her as she was an elderly woman and all by herself.  He then showed up, when he was going to and did a good job.  I will continue to use his services in future.

It went excellent. He was on time and professional. The price was reasonable.

Our nieighbor had Bruce take care of their furnace and airconditioner and they told us how he had found a small problem with their furnace. When he came to our house to just take care of the airconditioner he asked if he could at least check the furnace to make sure it did not have the same problem as our neighbor since we all had the same builder. He did not charge us for this and we did not have the same problem. I could not believe how reasonable his price was and how consciences he was about his work. We just had him take care of our daughters furnace and aircondioner and next week he's coming back for plumbing work! I am really pleased with his prices and the services he has performed. Bruce is a very genuine person. We couldn't be more pleased!
