Working with Tom is always a pleasure. His knowledge in residential construction is vast and he is a great source of information. He is able to speak with in you in layman's terms and makes things easy to understand. You can't go wrong in hiring Tom!!

First, his visual expertise helped us design an open floor plan in the basement with both more windows and more insulation, allowing guests who stay in the guest room to move from room to room comfortably. The sunlight brings brightness, and he was instrumental in suggesting the sump pump to keep us safe when bad weather threatens. Second, he was strategic in redesigning the floor plan for kitchen cupboards and appliances and hidden washer and dryer for convenience in order to make our kitchen experience more streamline. The island and the breakfast nook- both his suggestions- have "wowed" visitors by the pleasantness and coziness. One additional feature was a bay window by the breakfast nook letting in bright sunlight and glimpses of the garden. Finally, he helped us support the front porch on a house that had been built in 1910, and redesign the patio to make a "room" for entertaining guests when the weather is warm. We hear compliments when guests come over, and the proof is that they find our kitchen the most pleasant place to hang out.
