Great overall. Kirk and the office staff were great to deal with and Tony and the other plumbing staff were easy to work with, professional and efficient in performing the work.

Comprehensive analysis of our storm water drain issue, extensive coordination with our village engineer. Prompt repair. The crew was careful to minimize damage to our landscaping.

When walls were removed, some very poor plumbing was exposed. Biagi was called in to replace existing plumbing. They were friendly, professional and showed up when they said they would. I was very happy with them.

They came out, had the right equipment and came with enough help - guys who were obviously licensed plumbers who knew what they were doing and what was needed to complete the job. Unfortunately, because I had been told by Roto-Rooter that there was a broken pipe, they dug up the ground and told me honestly that wasn't the case, the pipe was fine. I suspect at this time that Roto-Rooter, who told me of the broken pipe and tried to charge me three times as much to fix it, would have broken it to simply repair it. I would absolutely recommend Biagi. Their prices are fair, they don't come out under a guise of Special Pricing. They may have a higher cost upfront, but they're honest about what to expect and transparent about what things cost. Personally, I think their pricing schedule is more beneficial to myself as a homeowner.

I had four major interactions with them. They were always on time, helpful, and communicated well.
1) Diagnosing the problem. They sent someone out to map the old pipes. He loved his job and was a great detective. Tree roots that had worked through pipes, 120 year old pipes, and dead ends were a challenge for him. He marked the floors and created a good map that was used to come up with a recommendation for the future work.
2) Figuring out the plan. The owner came out and reviewed all the details of the work to be done. He and I got into every detail we could think of, and I learned more about how water flows than I ever intended.
3) Getting the permit - this took a while and then winter set in, so we needed to wait for spring. I was a big part of the delay too, but I wish they'd been able to handle it for me a little faster. They are out in the suburbs of Chicago.
4) The big dig, replacing pipe, installing the ejector pit, rerouting external drains, and new concrete inside and out. Just a very professional job. Really happy the whole time. They prevented dust from going everywhere in the house. A little was spread by the furnace, but very little. They handled the inspection as well. The final product looks great and works great. The front lawn needed to be dug up some, and they put down tarps to put the dirt on. The lawn looks as good as can be expected after all the digging. They identified an unrelated pipe that was dripping and fixed that too (a small extra charge).
A few smallish things to keep in mind:
The office closes at 5 on the dot, so don't be like me and wait until the end of the day to call.
At times I didn't have the phone number of the person who was coming out. Just call the head office, and they'll get you in touch.
They are good at responding via email.
We are very pleased with the end result.

They get the job done in a timely manner.

I was very happy with them. They cleaned up afterwards. They did everything that I asked them to do. Yesterday it rained and everything is working. They were less money than the different place that I had called. Not that it was an inexpensive job but it was less money than some other place that I had used prior to them. They didn't get back to me right away but they did the job and maybe it's just because they were so busy doing other jobs, because there was all these rain this summer, they had so many jobs. But, once it was done, I'm very happy with their service.

I called Biagi Plumbing this morning before business hours and received a called from their office promptly at 7:59 AM while in my car on the way to work. Biagi's scheduling planner, Michelle, was sincere and friendly and asked for additional details about my message and asked for my address where the service needed to be performed. She relayed to me a projected timeline for the service call. She also informed me about a projected service time and stated that they would call me 30 minutes before the plumber would be available - allowing for me to plan time to get home for the service call. Our initial conversation was on my cell phone they and agreed to call me at my office phone for the confirmation call since I do not get cellular service in my building.
During lunch Biagi called my office and informed me that Jeff was on his way to my house for the plumbing work. Jeff arrived 15 minutes before I got their and patiently waited for me. After greeting me, he donned a pair of protective covers over his work boots to protect my hardwood floors. After assessing the sink location and further inspecting the drainage runs in the basement, he measured off the distance needed to ensure that he would be accessing all the internal drainage lines.
After bringing in his equipment, Jeff quickly routed the drain with the traditionally routing equipment and explained to me where the clog was located. Jeff then went to his truck and got an additional routing attachment tool that provides an improved pipe cleaning during routing as a followup to the initial step. The whole time he was working the water was running in the drain to ensure that anything freed from the pipes during routing would be swept away. This same drain was routed by a DIFFERENT company probably less than two years ago and I am convinced that Jeff's technique with the running water and special second routing technique has cleaned the drain properly this time.
Jeff was friendly, left no mess and answered all my preventive maintenance questions about how to avoid further drain clogs. He also gracefully answered question I had about a toilet on the same floor. He examined the toilet bowl, adjusted the toilet bowl water level, and explained that the water level was not high enough for my older toilet model and how the amount of water delivered was important to ensure proper waste removal. He also recommended a new flush mechanism to further fix the problem.

Steve came on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Did a complete rodding job inside and out. Previously, Dennis had come and fixed our toilet.  Friendly person on the phone who sets up appointments.  Able to schedule a time to come out right away. Would use again.

They were prompt and came within a day of calling them. The service-members knew what they were talking about.

I called for an estimate and had a written copy in 72 hours. Dennis their service manager had the job scheduled the next day. The price came in within $100.00 of where I guessed. The crew showed up right on time and the job was done in less than a day, and the damage to the landscaping was lesss than we had envisioned. It doesn't get much better than that.

James Biagi and the entire staff was very professional. The 3 day project was done with minimal interruption to our household. Everyone was courteous including those who entered our home and those I spoke to only on the phone. I had some concerns about deadlines and they met all of them. I was especially impressed that they dealt with me, a woman, directly never making me feel dumb or like my husband should be working with them instead of me. Fantastic!
