American Mattress

Description of Work: I entered the store possibly interested in buying a new bed. I encountered an aggressive sales pitch, showing me the most expensive bedding at the front of the store. I had to ask to see lower priced bedding. I bought a bed to be delivered on a specific date. That evening I had doubts about my needs and reviewed the sales receipt. Then I noticed that the receipt, which was given to my AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE SALE AND CARD CHARGE, said "All sales are final". I decided I was stuck with it and accepted delivery. During delivery, the foundation would not fit up the stairway to the bedroom (but the mattress would). The deliverer took the foundation back to the store. The next day I returned to the store for a refund of the foundation. I encountered an aggressive pitch to accept an alternate (split) foundation. The store would not give up any portion of the sale. I negotiated an exchange for a deluxe mattress cover instead of a split foundation.
