We first contact Hayden's a year ago, and decided to wait, because we were naïve about the cost of landscaping. I did end up getting some competing quotes, one which was a bit lower, and one which was a bit higher. This year, we decided to bite the bullet and get our long awaited project done! We chose Hayden because of their years of experience, solid reputation, and because they seemed to care about our budget as well as the quality of work they would do for us.
Rick, Jim, James, Aaron, and the rest of the crew did a great job, listening to our desires and adapting as we progressed through the 5-6 week project. When all was said and done, we were very happy with the final product.
The time to completion and final cost were considerably more than initially estimated. However, we were kept informed along the way, so we understood the reasons for some of the extra time and cost. This caveat is not specific to the provider, however. Anytime you enter a large home project, be prepared for changes that may effect timeliness and cost. If you can't afford the extra time and cost, you should put off the project until you can.
I would highly recommend Hayden Landscaping for their quality work, and believe that their prices and product offerings are reasonable for this area.
