Hired Wharton Paving due to the fact they did the previous paving here some 40 plus years ago. Job consisted of replacing 48 feet of culvert pipe and double wide driveway. Unfortunately that turned into a real big mistake for us. On the day of paving they had to add stone and re grade surface prior to laying asphalt. As with all new asphalt you need to let it cure for several days which we did. Upon back filling up to driveway with topsoil and grass seed we noticed they shaved off up to a foot off the top of the driveway thus making very difficult to navigate two vehicles side by side like originally done also now that were driving on it we also noticed incorrect pitch meaning one side was two inches higher than the other. Pitch should have been to the center of driveway this way when draining it flows toward the drain in the middle. After meeting with owner about issues he stated there was not much that could be done now. He then stated he would refund the money in full and send a check in the mail and then stormed out of here. A couple days later I received a email saying it was all my fault he wants no further contact with us. I tried several times to contact him no nothing email, text, or phone I only have one question for you is this the type of person you want to hire and work with ?
