OK. A little slow at the start but I suspect that was due to the insurance adjuster.
Rain delayed the start but once it was started, it was finished in one day. The installation crew broke a basement window well cover; getting that taken care of took a little longer.

Regal Exteriors are contractors. This review is of them, not the specific subs they use.

They contacted us via cold call . Usually I can't get rid of these folks fast enough. Not this time. There was something about the approach or maybe the just caught me at a weak moment. In any case, I'm glad I did not just hang up.

• They were very easy to work with and provided us many options.
• They were with us every step of the way.
• They explained the insurance forms and reports.
• They coordinated the sub-contractors and supervised the work being done.
• The house was completely resided and the roof completely replaced in less than 2 weeks.
• 99.9% of the debris was cleaned up after the job. There were some nails in the yard which concerned me because we have kids and dogs. This was a result of the sub's work, not Regal's, but I do believe they could have seen it and asked them to clean up a bit more.
• Other than that, they did an awesome job.

I was pushing up against a weather deadline here in Chicago to complete my garage roof. I was completely rebuilding the garage myself, but by late November I still hadn't finished all of the rafters, much less the sheathing and shingles. Tony from Regal Exteriors called me unsolicited to ask if I had had any hail damage from an earlier storm (to my house) and after an inspection by my insurer it was determined that I qualified for a complete rood replacement of the house. I took advantage of the situation and had them do the sheathing and shingles to my fairly complex garage roof as well (3 gables and a flat roofed dormer) as I had just finished installing the last rafter. They took care of the main house roof in one day, and came back 3 days later and sheathed and shingled the garage. They did the flat part of the roof a few days after because they wanted to lay the membrane on a completely dry surface.
I was very happy with all of their work, and would recommend them highly to any thinking of re-roofing. I will probably be calling them back in the spring to do my gutters as well.
