Ordered and received face cord of seasoned oak wood.  They deliver quickly, stack neatly (all included in one price) and if you leave a check in the doorway, you don't need to be home.  I have used this business for years and have always been happy with the service and the quality of the wood.  They have several varieties of wood to choose from.  Paul is very professional and I highly recommend using his services.

I told him what I wanted and he managed to find colorful plants and shrubs that do not attract bees.  He was very good to work with.  He had to replace a couple of things two years later and he did that for cost and no labor.  I am really pleased with him because he really listened to what I specifically wanted.  He is a little more expensive.  There was a lot of manual labor and he did it very quickly.  He did not leave any mess anywhere.  We were very pleased with the outcome.  He was able to salvage what we had and put it elsewhere in our property.  He comes for spring cleanup and lays down mulch.  He also does edging when needed.

We switched to Paul for weekly lawn maintenance at a higher cost, but were promised a more professional look and attention to detail, which was never really delivered. The care of our lawn badly turfed and marked our lawn after a day of rain. Paul came out and saw this and promised it wouldn't happen again. 3-4 weeks later our back yard was badly damaged again due to the same lack of consideration. It has still not recovered and will likely require reseeding and work next year to correct. I called several times on this issue, hoping to find a solution, but never got an answer. When I finally talked to Paul he admitted it was unacceptable and we came to an agreement to compensate us, which was appreciated. I wish it could have been resolved sooner or hadn't happened in the first place.

Initially looked good, but several of the new plants and transplanted bushes struggled, despite constant watering. Weeds and grass began to grow in the front beds and I was told they would take care of this (also responsible for weekly maintenance) but that never happened. Overall results were pretty good and cheaper than all other bids received.

Paul returned my email with a phone call, came over the next day, studied the mess and gave me an estimate for both the front and back of my home. I liked him and his ideas so much that I didn't bother getting any other estimates. Sure enough, his crew returned the next day--I left for work, and almost passed my house right by when I got back. It was that different and that beautiful. Paul returned with a timer and set it up so my lawn would be watered twice a day without my effort. All I have to do is water the new trees and shrubs. I could not be more delighted with this experience. My yard had been getting me so bummed that I was thinking of living in a townhouse, even though I love my home. This has made all the difference; I'm back to loving where I love. Even the crabby old man down the street (the kind who mows his lawn every day and washes his driveway religiously) called over me to shout his joy and approval. Maybe now he'll wave back.

Had to order from a source other than our normal. Normal source did not have dry wood at the time. Spoke to Paul on first call attempt. He was very friendly and described various wood options. Wood was delivered within 18 hours of request w/ a nice delivery person. Wood was cut into sizes that accommodate our smaller fireplace, however, after attempting to burn it found most of it to be wet to the core, which obviously causes smoldering conditions and smoke/odor in the home. Wood is stored inside the garage so it is slowly drying out. Also, compared to face cords ordered in the past from alternate source (another professional company) this did not appear to stack up as a full face cord. It does not seem at all comparable to the amount received previously. I have no way of measuring this, but appearance is obvious. Since spring is fast approaching will probably not have many more fires this season. Am sure the wood left over will be nice and dry by next winter.

I called to register a complaint about what was delivered and was told a check for $35, for the mix up in wood type and shortage, would be mailed. The check never came. I later decided to order another face cord and Paul agreed to deduct $35 from the price. The next day, the truck arrived. While the driver was loading the cart used to carry wood, I went out to show him where to stack the wood. I also asked him not to cross-stack. He said that was how he was supposed to do it, to which I replied a cord of wood, face, stove or whatever, is not cross-stacked. The driver went to the truck cab and returned with an envelope containing $35. He said the boss told him if I didn't want the wood cross-stacked then he was supposed to leave. He put the wood in the cart back on the truck and drove away. Even though I got money back for the problems with the first load, I never did get what was advertised: A face cord of oak. Caveat Emptor.

The two men arrived within the hour promised and neatly stacked the firewood behind the house. They were pleasant, efficient, and the wood was as advertised and dry. I did not shop around so I do not know where the price falls relative to the A-F survey.

The wood was neatly stacked on the racks in the backyard. I have a small wood burner stove so I was happy to see that the wood was of usable lengths. There was no dirt or wood chips left on the driveway. Anyone driving down the street would not have guessed that work had been done. It was one less thing for me to clean up.

Paul was easily reached by phone, Paul wanted to deliver wood on Friday but rescheduled to Saturday morning as I have dog's and wanted to be there for delivery. Scheduled for between 9-11 am I called Paul and was told I was first on the schedule, they arrived at 9:10. The workers were efficient friendly and joked with the dog's, and they delivered a good quality wood. Will recommend to others.

PAUL SHOWED UP WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD, AND STACKED THE WOOD VERY NICELY, AND EVEN PUT ASIDE THE CHERRY AND HICKORY PIECES FOR SMOKING AT MY REQUEST. THE BEST PART IS THAT PAUL'S PRICE WAS $20-$40 LESS THAN ANYONE ELSE I CALLED.
