We'd worked with Paul Hill on several other occasions, but he'd left the area for a a few years so we'd lived with the problem, longer than necessary. It wasn't a safety issue, just a nuisance. A contractor friend knew we had this problem with the switch and knew that he'd returned. He asked Paul to call us. He did and we arranged for him to come to the house to look at the switch. I explained the problem so he knew what questions to ask and the correct parts to bring. Paul arrived on time and fixed the switch that day. Total charge $45.00 which seemed incredibly reasonable. We met him when he was the electrical sub when we remodeled a bedroom and front porch on our 1890's Victorian farmhouse. Did a great job on this and other work we had him do later. Installed a carbon monoxide monitor and hard wired the smoke detectors. Can't remember the cost other than that it was reasonable.
