LESTER'S NURSERY, LANDSCAPING AND CONSTRUCTION

It went very well. They are very friendly. They were on time and within the budget we agreed on. We had other landscapers but compared to Lester's everyone else was poor quality. They even waited around to determine if we were pleased with their work. Waited to pay them until after the work was completed and we were satisfied.

Bill, came in between rain  6 hours, a day after we called.
He listened to what we wanted and offered suggestions.
They started work sooner than expected, but did lose 2 days because they had not gotten a building permit.
Even though we had asked if one would be needed and been told "no".
Project was done in 5 days.
Even to the sowing of grades where the tractor had torn up some of the lawn.

When the work stared through about 80% of the job - they did a wonderful job.  Bill has a great eye for design,and gave us exactly what we wanted and more.  He has tons of construction experience that was outstanding in helping us with another issue that arose when the patio was being installed.  The only issue we had was that something seemed to happen about 3/4 of the way through the job, where it was hard to get them over to finish the job.  The quality of the work also went downhill at this point, but thankfully , the job was almost complete.  They say they plan to come back out to check on the job after 1 year to make any repairs or adjustments, but after our experinces of the past couple of weeks, I am not going to hold my breath on that one.  Not sure what happened...was planning to have them come back out next year for further work, but we may have to think about it.  Overall quality was good, but it got pretty poor towards the end..like they were in a rush.

The owner, Bill, spent several hours with me exchanging ideas and design. Ultimately he came up with a design even more beautiful than I had anticipated. His crews showed up on time,, were very polite and conscientious. They did a beautiful job of bricklaying as well as pitched the terrain for proper drainage, and restored the surrounding grass areas. After the job, was completed, another contractor came in,(a different trade) and messed up some of the brickwork. Bills guys came back and fixed everything back to perfection with no hassle. Bill is an experienced landscaper, although a relatively new owner to this particular company...he is eager to please his customers.
