Louco Constructions Services, LLC

I got some bids to do some concrete work. My driveway needed to be resurfaced. I got three bids and the worst bid I got was from Louco Constructions Services, LLC. We didn't get past the quoting process. They submitted a bid that was way out of range than my other two bids. They were going to clean and prepare the surface of my drive way and the walkways. They were also going to put some sealer around my pool and do repair work with some cracks. The other companies were going to do all of that for $900 and $935. But they wanted $4000 just to do that. In total they bid $10,700 and the others bid between $5000 and $6100. That's how far out of range they were. My impression was that they did a lot of talking that was not related to what I needed done. What concerned me was that he tried to create this harsh scenario about what would happen with my pool if the sealing wasn't fixed around where the pool edge meets the concrete, they tried to use a scare tactic on me. I had a fiberglass pool which was not going to bubble up unlike when you have one of those other plastic type ones, so he told me "Oh if you don't get this filled in your pool is going to jut bubble up. There are going to be bubbles everywhere." So I'm like "You know what? I don't even have that type of pool lining that's going to bubble up. So where do you get this piece of information from." We know what we had an we knew he went overboard to create these gloom and doom stories.
