I have only been in the house since December. First we started finding water in the basement. Last week I heard water running down the front of the fireplace. I made a phone call to him and he said I have the cap up too high. Then Sunday night it started raining hard and it started coming down again so I went downstairs in the basement and water was just leaking and pouring down the walls, so I called him and told him the situation. He came out and I showed him where it was coming down but then he said he thought it was bone dry (even though you could see the insulation was still soaking wet). Then he just turns around and walks out the back door like he didn't want anything to do with it. He was verbally abusing me and calling me a liar. He supposedly went up on the roof and tarred the area but I wont know until it actually rains. The wife however seemed like she wanted to keep us satisfied but he just seemed like he wanted to get out of the work. The mans wife seems to be level headed and a consumer minded person but having to deal with the guy I would not recommend anyone having to go through with him.
