I purchased expensive marble tiles and marble mosaics to be installed in a small powder room. The installer used the top of marble tiles to cut the mosaic pieces apart and left cutting marks all on the top of the tiles. The mosaics were installed VERY unevely so that if you walk barefooted on the tile you can hurt your foot if you put it down on the heel bone!I I had picked marble tiles to match the marble baseboards that already existed in this house. This house was built before 1854. The man broke the marble baseboard because he was in such a hurry that he could not wait for his helper to return with the saw, which they forgot to bring, so he used a shovel to remove the wood beneath the marble and it broke from the stress of the shovel. I had to purchase new baseboards. I complained about the cut marks and the uneven tiles and asked that they replace these tiles. The man tried to use sand paper to remove the cuts. He did, you could not see the cuts because he sanded down the top of the marble...also removing the shine!!!!!! When I told him to remove and replace the tiles he picked up his hammer...raised it high in the air... and SLAMMED it down into one of the tiles!!! I told the owners that I would get someone else to fix their mess and would never have them back for any work and would tell everyone I could how bad they were.
Description of Work: Old ceraminc bathroom floor was taken out and new marble tiles installed.
