Siding Group did a great job. They helped me figure out what work to do and what did not need to be done, and provided an accurate, detailed quote. They completed the work in the time frame without any delays. I would definitely use them again. My calls were returned promptly.

Siding Group came highly recommended by a friend and that is why when we took bids on this job, we went with them even though they were more expensive than the other bids. But we still really got our money's worth! Originally, the house and garage were to get new roofs and the house gutters and downspouts were also to be replaced. Imagine our surprise when we found out the fasica behind the old gutters and some parts of the soffits on the house were rotted and would also have to be repaired/replaced. When we asked Bartek and Greg what we should do, they suggested two scenarios. We could replace what wood needed to be done and later have it painted, or we could have the wood replaced and then have it wrapped in aluminum. We went with the latter since the less maintenance this house needs in the future, the better for us. We were fortunate we had hired Siding Group, because they have various teams that do different work. Otherwise, we would have had to hire other people to do the additional needed work. It surely made our lives easier. Bartek suggested we "go bold" with the gutters and thus chose a contrasting color to trim out the house. With the addition of the aluminum soffits and further trimming out, the house looks fantastic. We are so glad Bartek recommended something to us that we would not have thought of. An important note: When the roof was being removed, our neighbor's house paint got scratched and Siding Group tried to touch the areas up, but ended up power washing and painting that side of her house to make it right. That is so admirable. We are so happy we chose Siding Group for this large job. The men who worked on our house did a remarkable job cleaning up at the end of every day and we think, did their very best. I would recommend this company to anyone for any of the various services it provides.

Hubert was the sixth siding representative that I met with, but Hubert offered window trim options that no one else had mentioned. He also explained the warranty details of the siding that no one else had discussed. His knowledge and professionalism was excellent. He took the necessary time to understand what I wanted done. When I did receive his quote he also included a long list of references of previous jobs and he encouraged me to check his references. The Siding Group quote was higher than other comparable companies, but they were willing to increase the 'discount' which then brought them to the price ballpark of other companies. Although I ended up choosing another company, Hubert's professionalism and knowledge left me with a very favorable impression of his company, and I would recommend other people consider Siding Group when investigating fiber cement siding work.

If I need window or siding service in the future, I will definitely be calling Siding Group, Ltd.

Their estimate was very competitive when compare with the other quotes. The quality of the cement board siding was fantastic and they did really good job. The flooring took a little longer than it was scheduled but they did really good job quality wise. The main thing is that when I call them they have a problem with their system because it's always not working. I have a complaint with them there. They did a reasonably good job and I am assuming that they will show up with the need to work. The price was very competent because I got all my windows.

The above is one reason I am glad I am using them to update my building. The work will resume in the spring of 2010.

Overall, it went well. They provided a quick estimate that was the lowest of the three we received. Although there were a few minor issues (they started later and the job took a little longer than expected, some of the window frames were damaged during installation of the windows, they did not always clean up as much as a I may have liked), Greg worked to resolve everything to our satisfaction. The house looks great and we are happy with the windows.

As the only house with siding in a block full of brick bungalows, I worried about paying a lot for siding only to have my house still look like a big garage. I got estimates from other highly rated siding companies on Angie's List, but Siding Group was the only company that gave me confidence that they were concerned about the design elements of siding and the final appearance my house would have. Bart met with me three times, providing excellent advice about my options. I chose some more expensive options, which I don't regret in the least, but the estimate was detailed enough to give me choices for reducing my costs throughout the process. Bart explained before I signed the contract that they couldn't start immediately, but he then offered me a 10% discount on the job for waiting until their slower season. Once they started, the installers worked hard through the cold weather and as others have said, cleaned up their work area well each day. I was disappointed with only one small part of the job (2 downspouts initially descended in ways that might trip someone using the sidewalk by the house), but Greg readily agreed to change those downspouts when I asked. The final result of the siding job is better than I could have dreamed, especially since my frame house is much smaller and simpler than many of the model houses I saw of the Siding Group's prior jobs. The primary and accent colors enhance the appearance of my home so much that even months later neighbors still rave about it whenever they see me outside. Neighbors I never met before have introduced themselves just to compliment me on my house's "makeover." Best of all, I now have a house that I'll be proud to live in for years to come. I would highly recommend Siding Group to anyone who wants to make sure that their siding job is handled with attention to detail and design.

So far, everything has gone well. They clean up well, there price are reasonable.

Their representative, Hubert, who gave us the quote was very professional and thorough. He came over twice to go over everything. They started and finished the job as promised, which took about three weeks. They were very good about cleaning up each day and did an excellent job. Two small points, they put up a large sign in our front yard advertising their company without our permission and I had to call them to take it down even after they had finished and we had paid them. They came for a final inspection and wanted full payment on the spot, without any advance notice to us so we had to write them several checks to cover it.

Gary came out and gave us a fair estimate. However, we discovered that our cedar siding needs replacing and not just painting.

Siding and Windows Group met with us a couple of days after first contact and provided a very detailed quote within a week. Hubert was thorough and went over many details and pointed out specific homes that we should visit in the area (from their list of 150 references) that would give us a better idea of what our suggestions actually look like. After viewing the houses on the reference list, it was obvious this company does quality work (so much so that we could point out the house they did before confirming the address). The price quoted was fair and very detailed with multiple options. However, we had a friend's company offer us a deal to good to pass up - otherwise we'd have likely gone with S&WG. I'd recommend you call them if you have a Victorian that you're sick of painting but can't bare to side over.

The rep. came out twice with samples and gave us a quote. We signed the contract on 11/30/05 to have the work completed. Since we didnt hear from them on when our job would begin, I called them on 1/2/06 to find out. The owner was out of the country. I was told they would begin the job on 1/26/06. Never showed. Finally on 2/9/06 our job was started. The wrong siding was delivered and they did not complete the window trim until after I reminded them it was in our contract on 2/15/06. The job was completed on 2/27/06 to our satisfaction.

THE COMPANY WAS GREAT. THEY KEPT ALL APPOINTMENTS, DID A THOROUGH JOB WITH THE ESTIMATE, AND GAVE US GREAT ADVICE AND SUGGESTIONS ABOUT DESIGN AND MATERIALS. THE WORKERS ALWAYS CLEANED UP EACH NIGHT AND DID THEIR BEST TO ACCOMMODATE US AS WE WERE GOING IN AND OUT OF OUR HOUSE DURING THIS BIG PROJECT. I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE HAVING THEM IN THE HOUSE AND EVEN HAD TO LEAVE A KEY WITH THEM SOME DAYS. THEY ALWAYS LOCKED UP AND NEVER LEFT THINGS UNATTENDED. OVERALL, THE QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT. THEY ALWAYS PAID ATTENTION TO DETAILS AND WERE RESPONSIVE TO ALL OUR REQUESTS AND CONCERNS. I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

WE WENT TO FOUR DIFFERENT COMPANIES TO GET AN ESTIMATE, BUT THIS COMPANY GAVE ME A REFERENCE LIST OF OVER 140 HOMES THAT THEY WAVE WORKED ON IN OUR AREA, AND INVITED US TO TAKE A LOOK AT THEIR WORK. THEY SHOWED DIFFERENT AWARDS THAT THEY HAD WON, AND SHOWED US THEIR LICENSING UP FRONT. THEY WERE ABOUT $2000 LESS THAN OTHER ESTIMATES. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, AND CLEANED UP WELL AFTER THEMSELVES EACH DAY. MY WIFE AND I WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEM, OVERALL.

I CHOSE SIDING GROUP BASED ON A NEIGHBORS RECOMMENDATION. THE WORK THEY DID IS GREAT AND THE WINDOWS LOOK NICE. COURTESY AND PROFESSIONALISM IS NOT A STRENGTH. THEY PROMISED A 5 WEEK TURNAROUND FROM ORDER TO INSTALLATION. THE ACTUAL WORK TOOK PLACE OVER 2.5 MONTHS AFTER THE ORDER WAS PLACED. THE APPOINTMENT TO MEASURE THE WINDOW OPENINGS (AFTER THE CONTRACT WAS SIGNED AND DEPOSIT PAID) WAS BLOWN OFF WITHOUT A PHONE CALL. WHEN THEY FINALLY SCHEDULED INSTALLATION, THEY CALLED THE DAY BEFORE TO CANCEL. I HAD TO YELL AND THREATEN CANCELLATION TO FINALLY GET THE WINDOWS IN. I UNDERSTAND THAT MANY COMPANIES OVERBOOK THEMSELVES AND THEN GIVE THE SERVICE TO THE CUSTOMER THAT YELLS THE LOUDEST. KEEP THIS IN MIND IF YOU CHOOSE THEM. IN THE END THE WORKMANSHIP LOOKS GREAT.
