MORNING GLORY FLOWER SHOP

For my home wedding, I worked with Barbara Hausheer, who was fabulous. I had only a vague notion of what I wanted. Barb was able to take my vague information and create glorious arrangements that were exactly what I wanted but wasn't able to articulate, and even better. I had an offbeat idea for flower arrangements for the reception tables. Other florists I interviewed discouraged me, but Barb got what I was going for and never questioned it. As a result, my reception arrangements, though more work for Barb, were just what I wanted. I also wanted bittersweet vines throughout the arrangements, and Barb worked it in beautifully, including in an arch over our front door. Any idea I brought to her, Barb was willing and able to handle with no difficulty. Everyone talked about how gorgeous the flowers were - and they were right! Not only were the flowers abundant and gorgeous, but the price was LESS THAN HALF of the next lowest florist we interviewed (and we interviewed about six florists). I can't praise Barb enough. She made a very important contribution to our big day.

Excellent. I needed a bouquet of flowers, and this florist put together a very pretty arrangement of spring flowers. And then added a box under the vase and wrapped everything up in a way that added to the beauty of the gift. The personalized service and flower advice was exactly what I needed. I heard later that the flowers received lots of compliments.
They also carry an assortment of nice little cards by the register that are just right for adding a note with the cards. They're made by an actual person ;-) and are very charming and reasonably priced. I will definitely go back to this florist when I need flowers in the future. Very satisfied. Also, there was ample parking along Glenview Road.
I will add that I've used those 1-800 flower services before, and I think I got a much better value in terms of the service and the size of the arrangement and quality of the flowers by going to this florist.

As a price consious mother of the bride, I was clear upfront with Barb Hausheer regarding my needs. She overwhelmed me with her and quot;bang for the buckand quot; approach to my daughter's wedding flowers. No, I wasn't going to spend a lot of money, but she treated me as if I were spending thousands of dollars on the wedding flowers. They were SPECTACULAR. I truly mean it. They were take your breath away beautiful. With a St. Patrick's Day weekend wedding, the belles of Ireland for the boutonieres and the accent of green in the bouquets was so touchingly beautiful. I am thoroughly happy with their service and quality. Barb's pricing is fair and her service was superb. She was spot on with her recommendation that I pick up the flowers closer to the Mass time.

I was absolutely amazed at how fresh the flowers were and how long they lasted! They were delivered on 11/5 and I had to go out-of-town on the 20th. When I left, I couldn't bear to throw them out as they still looked wonderful. And I must admit I hadn't been particularly good about changing the water every day or any of the other things one is supposed to do to keep fresh flowers looking good longer. When I've sent flowers to others, I've always kept my fingers crossed as I know most recipients would hesitate to tell me if the flowers did not look good for fear of hurting my feelings. I myself received flowers in the past that only lasted a few days. Morning Glory in Glenview will always be my florist of choice in the future.

The flowers were delivered the next day as promised and my friend was really delighted with them.
