MJ Watch Service

It went very well. I was very pleased with the work they did. The new part was put in and they polished the watch and cleaned the mechanism so it’s looking brand new.

Fantastic. These guys are pro's. Both watches are complex chronographs and required a full overhaul. Both are running great. They have another UG Tri Compax in service now. I've been using them for years but only recently began bringing complex repairs to them, having realized that I'd been paying way too much to a downtown watchmaker. Prior to this they did a hand reset on another Tri Compax and an overhaul on a 1950 Longines Chrono. They have done Quartz and Three Hand watches for my family for years. Wish I had back all the cash I'd laid out downtown!

Very pleased. All watches mentioned were not running and are now perfect. These guys are very professional and I will be bringing more of my vintage too them. Reasonable prices, good follow up.

I called ahead to see if MJ could change the battery on my watch.  They said they could and for 12 dollars.  I was frustrated because the store that I purchased the watch from would not do it on site telling me they would have to send it away for two months and charge me 75.00  They also said they were afraid they would scratch it.  The folks at MJ Watch had the battery changed in about 2 minutes and no scratches and for only 12 dollars.  It looked like a real repair shop.  There were about half a dozen repaitmen working on watches with all kinds of specialized tools.  If my watch ever breaks I'd bring it there rather than send it back to the manufacturer.  They really know what they are doing.

I dropped my watch off in January on the 26th.  They told me about 3 weeks for the service.  It is March 27th and not done yet.  Still hoping. . They called once several weeks ago, and said it was done.  But when I drove over, it was the wrong watch.  After some searching they found mine, but it was still in pieces.  I called today and they said it was almost done, and could be picked up tomorrow.  They seem very nice, so I am hoping for the best.  I am a little worried that the watch was forgotten and that they are now trying to rush it back into working.

Things went as promised.

They are very good. They take you right away. They are very competent.

I brought in my Citizen dive watch for new battery.  I did not know that I should have not let anyone do thins as it is a dive watch.  On the back of the watch it says only 'Citizen" is authorized for repair on this watch.  I did not realize that all the diving functions were no longer working until my next dive.  The watch now loses about a minute a day, frustrating.  The fact is they should have never tried to change anything.  I just got an estimate from Citizen and it is for $279.00.  Make a good paper weight now, thanks MJ

I ASKED THE GUY TO LOOK AT ONE WATCH TO SEE IF IT WAS WORTH FIXING A PROBLEM WITH THE HOUR HAND. HE TOOK IT BEHIND THE WORKBENCH AND CAME BACK A MINUTE LATER WITH THE REPAIR ALREADY MADE AND DIDN''T CHARGE ANYTHING.
