Description of Work: I took in a piece of fine art to get framed. They helped me design a beautiful hand wrapped silk deep bevel mat with fillet. They had over 1500 different profiles of moldings to pick from for a frame. Everything was done with archival materials. They assisted me in this whole process and had everything ready to be picked up promptly.

 + -1 moreEXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! THE COMPANY WAS RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND WHO IS AN ARTIST AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT FRAMES. THE FRAMING WAS EXPERTLY DONE, VERY REASONABLY PRICED, AND COMPLETED QUICKLY (MOST PLACES TAKE AT LEAST SIX WEEKS; I THINK IT WAS ONLY TWO WEEKS FOR TWO OF MY ITEMS, WHILE THE OTHER IS AWAITING SHIPPING OF THE FRAME FROM ITALY). I HAVE USED SEVERAL DIFFERENT RETAIL FRAMERS IN THE PAST, AND HAVE FRAMED OTHER ITEMS MYSELF. MCFARLANE'S IS THE BEST, BY FAR, ON PRICE, QUALITY AND SPEEDINESS. THEY HAVE LOTS OF FRAME AND MAT CHOICES, ARE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL (NOT INTIMIDATING TO THE NON-EXPERT)AND THEY PROVIDE WONDERFUL SUGGESTIONS -- IT'S CLEAR THAT THE STAFF HAS A LOT OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE IN ART. AT THE SAME TIME, THEY ARE ALSO JUST AS WILLING TO FRAME A PIECE ACCORDING TO YOUR DIRECTION. THEY WERE FANTASTIC, AND I AM SO GLAD TO HAVE FOUND THEM.
