 + -1 moreLinden Contracting is very conscientious. Eric discussed our schedules with us to determine start and end times each day. He provided us an estimated timeline up front, along with estimated costs for the project. He required 50% down, an additional 1/4 of the estimated project costs when they were about 2/3 of the way complete, and final bill with final project costs at the end. He was able to save us money based on some of the materials we wanted him to use and he made alternate suggestions, which we happily approved. He always gave us a heads up if he thought something was going higher than the projected estimate. Overall, his estimate was within 5% of his final costs, which was reasonable, especially considering this was mostly due to the finishing products we chose. I would absolutely hire Linden Contracting for any of my future home remodeling needs!
Description of Work: We wanted our basement finished, so we could enjoy it, instead of continue to organize all of the stuff we tended to store in it. Eric came over and listened to our needs, examined the entire basement and made suggestions, which were perfect. From a large "nothing" space, he created an exercise room, an entertainment room with home theater and bar, put in a bathroom where one never existed, and created a large and useful storage room. Everything was complete and perfectly suits our needs -- now we have a lot more living space in our home and we spend a lot more time enjoying it! After a few meetings, at which Eric listened to our ideas, he did all of the planning, making every effort to help us save money where we could and the finished product is fantastic. He and his team completed everything from framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, tile and finishing every room -- to the installation of our new home theater and training us on how to use it.
