After my father passed, my mother was nervous about taking on the care of the car. She took it to Hillerich'so for some standard maintenance and said how wonderful all the people were and how she received excellent service. Thank you, Dan and the gang!

They are a little on the expensive side. But otherwise, they are good and professional. No real issues at all. I would absolutely continue to use them in the future.

These are people you want in your corner anytime.  They insisted on taking the car to get tested again, to ensure that it passed, rather than leaving me with a possible roller coaster ride.  They had given me a price up front, which seemed not unreasonable, but I didn't understand that it included them taking care of retesting, so I was surprised (pleasently).  They do the most emission fixes in Glenview (according to the booklet / website that the emissions people provide), and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.  Everyone I talked to was professional and friendly.  The car is a Beemer convertible, so the guy who drove it to the retest (on a sunny day in August) was grateful, and I was happy to have enhanced his day a little bit.
And the service was done in a single day, as promised.  The overall experience couldn't have been better.

They are friendly and are honest. Anytime I have my car work done, I take it there. Something was wrong with my door and he fixed it for free. I love them.

They are in the corner from my house.  They are fantastic; they are honest, prompt, and do a good job.  They do what they say they are going to do and I have never had a problem with them.  They have a small waiting room which is comfortable.

They were quick, efficient, and communicative with the problem. I don't feel like they overcharged us.

We have been using Hillerich's for a few years. They're very thorough and helpful, and the work is always done quickly. They accommodate our schedules well, and will give us loaners if needed. They're big on extending the life of our car, and have encouraged us to keep it maintained instead of getting new cars and dealing with car payments. When my husband was looking for a new car, they told him which ones to avoid because the models are always in their shop for repairs versus the ones they only see for maintenance. I trust their judgement.

Poorly.  They did replace the wheel well liner and diagnosed that I needed new wheel bearings on one side in the rear.  They fixed that.  They did not fix the ABS light being on all the time, simply diagnosed it.  They called to say we could pick up the car so we did.  I asked the man at the counter if the ABS light was fixed and he said he thought it was.  It wasn't so we called when we got home, and they will let us know tomorrow about fixing the ABS.  They had the car for 2 days and over the weekend and now I will have to bring it in again. 
  Also, when I picked up the car today, 20 quarters and 12 dimes were missing from my change dispenser.  This might have been theft from someone outside the company since the car was not locked when I picked it up, or it could have been theft from a mechanic.     This is not the first time I have found change missing after taking it to Hillerichs and that's also very frustrating.

Good experience. They are thorough, friendly and operate a very clean and professional shop. No one likes to hear that their car needs a major repair, but they are willing to stand behind their work and answer all our questions.

I took my SUV to Hillerich's to get the thermometer malfunction repaired, and to have the oil and filter change. Left the car there. They gave me a courtesy car for the day, called me an hour or so later to tell me that a part needed to be replaced and gave me the estimate. They said that their check up also revealed that my rear brakes needed replacing because they were likely to only go for another 1000-1500 miles, and that I was due for other service at this point (about 70,000 miles) of my car's life. They reviewed what was essential to do at this time and what could be deferred for upto another 6 months. Gave me a detailed written estimate. Only performed the service that I approved based on that estimate. They called me to inform me when my car was ready (by the end of the day). I have had my car serviced by them before, and am very happy with them.

It went very well. I had noticed a dragging sensation and had no idea what it was. Hillerich's diagnosed the problem and fixed it. We have had quite a bit of work done at this location on our two cars from the 90's and always been satisfied. They don't surprise you with extra costs and have always given good time estimates and had the cars ready when they said they would.

They give great service and have reasonable prices.

They have been excellent. They take care of my car completely. In addition to normal maintenance, they watch out for my car overall. I feel like the pricing is in line with other shops.

The dealership we got the car from tried to get us to spend close to $3,000. Hillerich's said that none of that was really needed, but we did have to have break work done. They are really good, they were able to see us quickly.

I found that Hillerich's Car Care has extremely good prices. Their work is very good and durable. They also have extremely good customer service and are very punctual and professional. I do recommend them.

THIS HAS BEEN THE MOST HONEST REPAIR SHOP I'VE EVER WORKED WITH. THEY ARE PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, AND FIX THINGS CORRECTLY. THEY'VE BEEN HONEST REGARDING UNNECESSARY REPAIRS, ''EDUCATED GUESSES'' VS. KNOWN FIX, AND RECOMMENDED VS. REQUIRED REPAIRS. I'VE RECOMMENDED THEM TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO.

GOOD SERVICE AND FIXED A PROBLEM THAT HAD BOTHERED ME FOR SOME TIME.

THEY HAVE DONE THE DRIVEWAY THREE TIMES SO FAR AND EVERYTHING IS FINE.
