They did a good job, in fact everything about them was good. 

I dropped of the rug at their location in Glenview since you save % off the cleaning. I told them my dog had peed on the rug multiple times and that was the main issue. They told me that the rug would be ready for pickup in 2 weeks. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. I picked up the rug 2 weeks later and while driving with the rug I didn't notice any urine smells. We had the rug sitting in a side room for about a month while we cleaned up the other room, I never once smelled any urine, and this rug smelled bad before. I think they did a very thorough job on the rug. If I get on my hands and knees and smell the rug I feel like sometimes I smell it, but my husband says he doesn't, so it's probably just me. My dog hasn't urinated on the rug again so that is a good sign that it was removed well. I would take more rugs here for regular cleanings or pet accidents.

They came out and gave an offer to clean 5 throw rugs that I have in my home. I accepted their offer but couldn't be home on their preferred date to deliver the cleaned rugs. We did not pick an alternate date; I thought someone would call to arrange it. But after two weeks went by we called them and Heirloom quickly realized what went wrong and promptly delivered my rugs in extra-great shape.

Great! I fon't have any don'ts.

The firm came to the house and made a determination if they could clean the silk rug. Pickup and delivery of the rug was offered and occurred as scheduled. Offers were made to place furniture back on the rug and all furnishing were treated with care. Couldn't ask for a nicer experience.

I called Heirloom to clean a single 10' x 14' oriental rug. They responded to my voicemail within a few hours and quoted the price, based upon the size of the rug, including an option to secure a significant discount by dropping off/picking up the rug myself. Because we live very close to their business location, we elected to take the discount and handle transportation. My husband dropped the rug off on June 24, 2011 and it was cleaned in under a week. It looks great. In addition, due again to our proximity to their business location (under 3 miles), they offered to drop the rug off at our home when the work was complete, gratis. My husband noted after dropping the rug off that "the guy" that took the rug was "a good guy", which is a high compliment from this particular source. We will return with more business.

Heirloom does a beautiful job. They are not always prompt with completing the job but they do it beautifully. I never knew the pad underneath an oriental rug could be cleaned and they saved us a lot of money by doing that and that is something other companies were not willing to atttempt. I have had some times where it did not look like it could be cleaned and they have done a phenomonal job on it.

I was very satisfied with the personnel and the work.
