My family has used Glenbrook for two generations for furnace and air conditioner installation, repair, and general maintenance. The May 2012 visit was an annual air conditioner /humidifier check up. We purchased the service plan with them so I'm not sure how much each visit costs. What I do know, however, is that Brad and company are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. They have also installed water heaters for us and back up sump pumps. They're great at answering random questions that the average, uninformed person may need help with.

Brad & his assistant arrived on time, removed the rose bush in order to get to the unit for removal & installation. The they replanted the rose bush & bungy corded the bush into place! Excellent!

They came to install my new heating unit, after they were done they wanted to make it look like I had agreed to pay a couple of days before so they told me to write two checks. The wrote down on their paperwork that I had made a down payment and had put the date for the 8th but I didn't pay anything until the 12th. I saw that the unit number that they put in was not even the correct size. I didn't know until a week later that the heat was only going to one side of the house so I complained to them and said that it must be because the unit was too small. They said the newer unit would be more efficient and it would produce the heat, but I told them it wasn't producing correctly. They came a few times to try and fix it but eventually told me that they would take everything out they had put in and give me a full refund. I was able to contact another company who was able to fix the issue very quickly for me. I called Brad from Glennbrook and let him know that I got it fixed and I wanted to let them know what the problem was but they never got a hold of me. I left several messages but none of them were returned. I even called the 800 number for the company and they didn't answer for me either. When the other company found the problem Glenbrook disconnected from me all together and didn't seem to care. I was left without heat for 24 hours from Glenbrook and they didn't seem to care from day one. If it had been installed properly the heat would have gone where it should, but they installed it incorrectly. They didn't seem to know how to regulate my thermostat either, and the other company was able to fix this for me as well. Looking back now I knew that it seemed like they couldn't explain anything to me because they didn't think I would understand, even though I trusted them from the beginning.

I was very satisfied with my experiences with Glenbrook Heating & Air Conditioning. They came out quickly. I was given the estimate right away. The workers made sure everything was done correctly. I will definitely be using them again.

The work done was good and I like them. They are pretty responsive, reliable, and confident. Their price is little expensive but they are pretty good so I use them. They do a good work. They are good on everything; it's just the price which is expensive. I will continue using them in future.

Annual inspection & cleaning service revealed small cracks in the furnace heat exchanger necessitating its replacement. Fred came to our house and presented an array of recommended Trane furnaces with detailed explanation of costs & benefits, including federal tax incentives for the energy-efficient models. He was given a 20% downpayment at that time. The next day we received a call to schedule the installation. Installers subsequently arrived on time, completed the work in a timely manner, hauled out the old furnace, and cleaned up the work area. Furnace functions as Fred promised with no problems. We have been using Glenbrook for over 25 years for our heating & airconditioning needs and have always been satisified with their professionalism.

I have never had any problems with them. I cannot recommend them enough. Their pricing is very competitive. They don't try to oversell you. They email you and have a web site. If I ask them, they will recommend other companies in a variety of areas to work with. I really trust them.

Glenbrook is wonderful. They were reasonable and were here on time. The service men were professional and the unit is great. I use them regularly now to maintain the furnace. I have no complaints about them or the service.

Glenbrook installed a new boiler for us in late 2005. It was not an easy job but Fred, the father, did a great job. In February 200,7 the boiler started to leak and Brad the son came out to fix it and charged about $220. He also did the maintenance and bled the radiators. Seemed ok but a week later the boiler went nuts and the heat shot up to 78. We turned off the thermostat but the boiler didn't respond. We eventually had to turn off the boiler. Brad's response was that our thermostats were "crap". I looked at the invoice and the thermostats were part of the Glenbrook package so I guess they installed crap. Since that initial time, our boiler has done the same thing almost once a week. They haven't managed to get the time to come back and look into this, despite our being available 3 days each week after 2pm. We have had a few conversations where it's apparent they don't consider this their fault, just is too strange it started with the maintenance! We're done with them.

I have used this firm at two different residences (for six years). They are responsive, helpful, and perform quality work.

They are a family owned business, and I have used them many times. They are considerable less than most people in the area.
