Great. Salesman brought glass Samples. I chose the Starfire glass which is about 30% more; but is almost completely clear unlike regular glass. I chose extra high 88" glass with 18" verticle handles and it looks amazing! Installation was efficient and polite. I was told they had a 3 week window for delivery--so I knew they were in demand. Luckily for me,they were almost a full week early!

I called a few providers and Glassworks was the only one to come out to give me a quote (other companies emailed estimates). Once I decided on Glassworks, Howard came out and took all the requisite measurements. About a week later he called to schedule the installation, which was about a week after that. Marlon and Danny came out exactly on time Monday morning, laid down floor protection and began installing the 4 mirror panels. They did a beautiful job and were very courteous. It took them about two hours. They cleaned as they went and didn't leave a speck of dust behind. When they finished they let me know the recommended care of my mirrors and gave me a can of cleaning fluid. I'm thrilled with the job they did and my mirrors look fantastic.

The initial response after requesting an appointment was that they didn't serve Algonquin. After I called them and questioned how they could have reviews on their web site for adjacent Carpentersville but not serve Algonquin, the person who had given the original response checked further and found that they indeed served our area.
Initial measuring on 8/27 went well and delivery was promised in about 3 weeks. Delivery on 9/15 was earlier than expected and went well with the installers making sure that the shelves and mirror were clean before they left.

Glassworks came and gave me the best quote for the work that needed to be done. The lead time was 3 weeks and the delivery was right on-time. A month after installation, we noticed the glass separator was moving and was not properly anchored. I called to try to get someone out to fix it and they did not return my call. I called again, and again they did not return my call. The third time, I was told that they had forwarded my issue to scheduling and that they would call me to schedule an appointment in 4 or 5 days. That does not seem acceptable to me, particularly in that if the glass moves, it could dislodge and break. My first experience was wildly different than what I am experiencing now, but I have to say, I am pretty disappointed.

I have two tables, a sofa table and a bedside table, that I wanted a glass top for. I took my measurements to GlassWorks and they made the tops for me. They were very knowledgeable and professional. When there was a mix up with the measurements, GlassWorks corrected the sizes promptly and at no additional charge. It took maybe a week for the original order and another week for the correction, which was faster than I expected.

We needed a glass shower door for our small basement bathroom renovation. The first guy we hired fell through, so we got 2 other quotes. Liz from Glassworks came in with a slightly lower quote and also had a much better idea of what would work in our awkward and tight space.
We went with a simple fixed panel and hinged door. Liz advised that someone would come out to laser measure and our door would be ready in 2-3 weeks. A few days later a man came out to measure the opening, 2 weeks later we received a call to schedule the installation, and on the 3rd week our door was installed. Communication was excellent throughout the process and the door looks and works great.

These guys were great from beginning to end! Excellent price and excellent quality. Shout out to Jessie the installer, this guy was terrific, a nice guy, very knowledgeable and truly concerned for perfection. His assistant Roger was great too. Highly recommend GlassWorks.

They were okay; it is so far away that I am pretty sure that they would not deliver it to me. They were very personable and accommodating. I would not use it again probably because of their location.

They were very professional. The shower has been great ever since (we had a lot of leaking before). They were actually not able to finish on the one day, but they made arrangements to come out the next day and complete the process. We were very happy with everything.

The provider responded promptly to my request for an estimate and provided it reasonably quickly. The sales person seemed to understand what I wanted, so I was a bit nonplussed when the company requested that I initial and second, different, but apparently also accurate picture of the requested layout -- only a few days before it supposedly was to be installed. Installation took place on the absolute last day of the 2-3 week window after measurement that was promised. My major disappointment was that when I later asked them to do (what seemed like) a simple job of cutting 9 quarter-inch glass shelves for me, the turnaround time of over a week seemed unreasonably long. I had that job does by someone who could turn it around n 24 hours (albeit at slightly higher cost). I will gladly do business with them again for non-urgent projects.
