The workers were friendly and showed up on time everyday (four days a week) until the project was completed.  They were
careful to protect my hardwood floors and keep dust and debris contained in the immediate work area. The project was
completed with professionalism and high quality craftsmanship.  It was a small bathroom and the lead worker, Carl, did most
(about 95% of the work.  He was excellent.  I am pleased with the outcome and would hire them again.

It went well! D/R was timely, professional, courteous, hard working and the price was reasonable.

The workers were wonderful, very courteous didn't even know they were in the basement.

We complained that some of the boards were not even with the others, in terms of length. Since they were off by nearly an inch, it gave the decks a jagged appearance. They agreed to return and correct it, which they did promptly and to our satisfaction.

The price was a bit high, but they did a great job. Furthermore, they arrived on time and did very well at analyzing our gutters and providing helpful solutions.

This company was recommended by our waterproofing company. We are somewhat new to the area, so we didn't shop the job around...BIG MISTAKE. Our original estimate was $9,000, which included the couple feet of drywall removal and finishing two rooms. We said that price was way too expensive, so we cut out two of things from the project-- two custom ordered doors (doorways are narrow, so we just left them open with no doors), and the 2nd room to be finished. They said that would shave off about $3,000. So the new estimate = $6,000. No written estimate. I think this is even against the law in Illinois if the job is over $5,000.
The biggest problem with this job was that we were charged $95/hour for every worker on site. Most days, there were 3 workers, working 10 hr days. That's $3,000/day just for labor!!! And, one of the workers was just a labor guy who cleaned up, sanded stuff, hauled debris away, etc. The were slow too, probably because they were charging me by the hour! At the end of day 8 of construction, it still looked a long way off from being complete and I had already received an invoice for days 1-4 totaling $9,200.00. I had to put a stop to construction.
Drywall still needed sanding and another coat of mud added; trim needed to be cut and put up; the electrical panel was exposed, needing a door made to cover it; electrical outlets were loose without any covers; a heating vent still needed moved; trim on the stairs needed completed; etc. The worksite was a DISASTER! Drywall mud all over the floors, piles of debris everywhere. It has now been 2 months since they left and I am still trying to find handymen here and there to come finish/fix all of the remaining work. Everyone who comes into the space comments on what bad workmanship was done there. The work is sloppy, uneven, and corners were cut all over the place.
My total bill of $18,796.19!!!! I called and complained, saying I was overcharged and I especially should not be paying a labor guy $95/hr to haul trash. They took off $4,000, but I still was completely ripped off. DO NOT HIRE these people!! This job could have been done for under $5,000....not almost $20,000!!!!

Both carpenters were excellent and the work was done on time.  I thought the price was kind of high.

I told them that I wasn't happy with their services, and I talked to the owner. They weren't helpful or nice. They up charged my supplies by 65%. Then they charged me $71 for somebody to go to another company and buy what truly was $19 worth of supplies/materials. I went over there and showed him my research. I told him that I was very disappointed with his services. I told him what I thought I would be able to pay him. I also told him that it was really unfortunate that he did his business that way. They were brusque, and it was really bad business. My overall experience with them was awful. He listened to what I said. Even when I had called back to sort out my bill, they weren't helpful. Their price was the worst ever, because they tried to scam me. They were not responsive at all; I called afterwards and I said that these are my problems. I asked them to have the owner call me, and he did. They were here when they said they were going to be here. Their professionalism was terrible; the guy that was here wasn't bad but the operation as a whole was terrible. The actual man wasn't a disaster, but the organization was terrible. I told him that we researched other people and that my husband went on Angie's List. I said that this is not good.

Very pleased, in general, because they bent over backwards and did somersaults to fit one into their very overbooked schedule. Had a few minor problems. Very satisfied overall, there's always going to be minor problems. That's being realistic.

They were great and we would use them again.

It was a good experience. The only issue we had was we had to pay for the travel time because were in the city and they are in the suburbs, which we didn't realize at first. They were great to go with and did great work.

The work turned out beautifully and they are very good. I have used them multiple times. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for.

It turned out phenomenal. They did the work about two years ago and I still have people who stop and take pictures of the house. They were always on time and they were very neat. They did exceptional work and I was very impressed with their work. I have knowledge in the field, more than the average consumers, and have been a lot of contractors, and they are definitely a top company.

I called to make an appointment and was given a time and date after explaining what I needed done. He gave me the time I requested. The fees were explained when I made the appointment. It's an hourly rate. The serviceman arrived right on time at the beginning of the time frame that was provided me. I appreciated that. I didn't waste time waiting for his arrival. That's always a plus. He was very friendly. He got to work right away and worked efficiently until the work was completed. The price was very reasonable. He cleaned up the debris from the job when he was done. I am very pleased with this company's service.

D/R was recommend by a family member to replace our front pictures windows and front door. Lance came out and gave us an estimate and recommended Pella windows. The windows were delivered directly to our home and the instillation was scheduled promptly, the next week. The crew arrived right on time and began work, the crew was very efficient and professional. Our windows and door were installed by the end of the day. The finishing touches on the interior were completed the next day, there was some custom woodwork involved on the interior and this was done beautifully. We are extremely happy with the entire project from start to finish. This company handled the entire project professionally. They were clean and neat and left our home in great condition. I would highly recommend this company to anyone for any home updating or repair work. They did beautiful work, our home looks great. All of our contacts, crew, estimate and office were timely and helpful. Great experience!
