Excellent sewing and installation. They needed a slight correct (no floor is even!) which was done over one day.

We have a new very contemporary home that we built from scratch, with large windows that required special care in finding the right window treatments, especially for large corner windows we have in several spots. The usual solutions weren't going to work well for us, but we fortunately found Creative House. They are a small, family-run operation that truly cares about quality and service. They were very patient as we worked together to come up with the right window treatments for the right locations, including larger than normal top-down bottom up Roman shades that would still be sleek and contemporary looking. We worked with Mark, the designer, to get the design right, and we also worked with him to find the best fabrics for each room. He and his mom Ruth were very good about showing us many, many fabrics, letting us take lots of pattern books home, etc. Then after we had chosen the design and fabrics, they took great care in measuring at our home, and then in the fabrication, including checking with us during the process. Ruth also worked with us to get pulls that would match the house design. Finally, Budd, the installer, was great. We worked with him closely to get everything placed exactly right, to check the operation (critical for the larger window treatments), and to line everything up in the corner windows. He was professional and careful when working and clearly very experienced. We are extremely happy with the final product, and guests to our house are very complimentary of the look that we've created. We have worked with many contractors on our home, and the team from Creative House was one of the best.

We went to the store to pick out the type of window treatment and the fabric. The mother and the son were very helpful. This is a family business. The son came out to the house to see how the fabric would go with our walls and also to do an initial measurement. They came back again with the person who would install and did a second measurement. Because of a miscommunication in the appointment they put a special rush on the order. We were very satisfied and would use them again.

It was great. A very nice family owned business, very personable. I love the result, which was to a great extent the result of their consultative approach and though I have had difficulty with one of the blinds on two different occasions-they immediately sent someone out who fixed it for free. Also, more affordable than other estimates I got.
