I called requesting an estimate on the tree removal. I had the estimate in my mailbox at the end of the day I made the request. The job was done within two days of accepting the offer. I was able to watch as the team was cut down. I was amazed at the expertise. I shot a video of the process because it was just an amazing process. Yes I am a first time homeowner lol. The clean up was exceptional. There was not a twig left in my yard. The stump was ground down prior to the 4th of July so my yard was clear for my cookout.

He came out May 12th. They did a superb job, as always. They clean up after themselves and do not disturb anyone. I've been using him for 25 years. Very trustworthy. Very prompt. I prefer him above all others. They're FANTASTIC!

Horrible. This is an example of how not to run a business. The owner came and gave me an estimate in a timely fashion, and all of the many trees on my lot were trimmed beautifully. However, when I got the estimate, he had written next to the stump removal "leave stump chips." When I asked him about removing the chips, he explained that I didn't want that. When the stump was ground out, it would leave a beautiful pile of 1/4" chips that you would pay big bucks for at a garden center. I could use it all around my garden for mulch. WRONG. What was left behind was a mammoth pile of dirt with huge chucks of wood throughout that would better be described as firewood than mulch. It has taken me the entire summer to finally disperse of the pile. Before the stump was removed, I specifically talked to the owner about my concern for the equipment leaving ruts in the lawn. He assured me that this would not be an issue as the worker would use a piece of equipment that rolls off the truck and hand-wheeled to the stump location. WRONG AGAIN. The worker did not only use the heavy-duty grinder, but he had to use his pick-up truck to push it to the stump. The result was huge ruts, not only in our lawn, but in our neighbors as well. The worker paid no attention to property lines. The owner had not talked to the worker about my concerns for ruts. When I pointed out to him that we had this discussion and I thought he would talk to his worker, he said that he just assumed the worker would use the hand-wheeled equipment. In addition to all this, the worker also cut through a pipe in the in-ground watering system. This fall, we had the 40 feet of tire ruts replaced with sod, and we have been watering endlessly to make sure it takes root. To his credit, the owner did pay for the repair of the sod and the repair of the pipeline. But this has been an ongoing issue in my yard all summer long. No, I would not call this company again.

They were excellent and their price was much lower than other companies. I would highly recommend them.

I've used his services for the last 25 years. He never damages a thing and really understands how to prune the trees. His staff has been with him for years. He gives great advice and his prices are good. He is my go-to guy and I highly recommend him.

Very well. Very polite and professional. Came over, did what they were supposed to, cleaned up, and left.

It went flawless - could not have gone better. The 60 foot Elm had large branches over both out house and our neighbors, so they had to be careful and they where.

Broadleaf was one of three companies I had bid on the initial removal of a huge 100 year old elm tree last spring. They were the most reasonably priced. They did the work, and were great. A few weeks later, I came home to a large branch from another 100 year old elm breaking. I called and they came out the same day. I truly believe they saved the tree. I just had them out a third time to trim that tree now that it is fall/winter. Great service beyond the call. Very reasonable prices. Clean is great. Workers are talented and fantastic!

Showed up quickly to estimate. Scheduled a service date within a week and arrived on time. Cleaned up. My only complain is that the arborist considered my trees "weed species" and left them kind of hacked up rather than making them look as nice as possible. I happen to like mulberry trees. In fairness, I was not there to talk with him when he estimated or did the work so didn't have a chance to voice my views on the aesthetics.

We have used Broadleaf Tree Care for over ten years to prune the trees in our yard and they have always done a very professional job. Bryan Sheckelman has been there quickly when we have need them to clean-up after storms and for general tree care. They do a really nice job on the trees and they clean-up well before they leave. We will continue to use them, Bryan runs a dependable operation with well trained employees.

Tree companies were backed up due to high volume of calls after the big storm. I waited over a week for one company to give an estimate (even just agreeing to the work would not have accelerated this very much). However, Broadleaf returned our call quickly and came the next day to estimate. They followed up via cell phone later that day and offered to do the job that very afternoon. With a reasonable price, we agreed immediately. Perhaps they were "in the neighborhood" and we got lucky, but I definitely feel like calling them back for future service. The storm proved that we need to be proactive with our big trees.

These guys were quick, efficient, hard working. They were willing to remove a 2nd tree not on original quote at a more than reasonable price. Hard working and accommodating. Great work!

BRYAN WAS COURTEOUS AND WAS WILLING TO WORK WITH ME TO SAVE SOME OF THE TREE AND AT A BETTER PRICE. THESE MEN WALKED UP THE TREE AND ROPED DOWN ALL THE BRANCHES THAT WERE DEAD AND CARTED THEM AWAY; NOT A STERIC LEFT OF TWIG OR LEAF AND I HAVE A TREE FOR A FEW MORE YEARS.
