Ice damage from roof. Water migration. We agreed to 2 coats of paint to rooms and halls and dining room cabinet but they put one coat. Tried to blend it into our current color to avoid proper painting. You have to babysit them and actually sit in the rooms being worked to ensure contract agreements are met. Instead of cleaning their paint brushes in cement sink in basement - they cleaned them in the guest bathroom next to their work area in dining/living room. We discovered they cleaned their brushes in that sink when I discovered dried paint around drain area of sink and parts of paint bristles lodged and clogging sink. To repair bathroom sink damage and now clogged plumbing it cost us an additional $700.00, to get our guest bathroom plumbing repaired and new pipes put in. They tried to avoid doing the agreed upon work per their own room drawings, I.e. refused to paint hallway and dining room cabinet. Also, never arrives timely and great at making excuses for delays. The worst job. We found that AYR is unprofessional in this regard and we had to have the rooms repainted after they finished. They also failed to stain the window frames the same color or at least close to living room color to match. It's a dark brown vs. lite blond in living room. The owner , who was one of the painters, got a 50ft roller in lieu of using a ladder to paint the 50 foot ceiling - leaving us with lines in living room ceiling. I sat in the kitchen to be close and the owner kept an eye on me as he used the roller. When I would get up from the chair to see the progress, about every half hour or so to oversee the job, he would get busy and paint like a mad man. Otherwise he painted the same spot over and over to avoid the work. It was like we hired a DOit youselfer instead of a reliable company.

On time and they knew what to do from start to finish.

He was prompt and did a good job staying on the driveways and not running over the lawn or shrubs. The only negative if there is one is that the driveway wasn't quite clean enough, but maybe the snow was too compacted already. Time will tell on that one.

Excellent! I called on a saturday afternoon expecting to leave a message and spoke to a person! He informed me that they would call back on Monday to schedule. They returned the call at 9:00 am. Very impressive. I inquired as to pricing. He quoted me $175--almost double what we usually pay. I explained that our normal carpet guy charged us $90. He said they could do it for $95--their minimum fee. I shared that my daughter had vomited on the carpet and that although cleaned by me, we really needed them out asap. They arrived promptly at 9:00 am on Wed and got to work. They foreman was the cleaner and WOW!! He REALLY put his back into making sure it was spotless! I walked outside and checked out the truck mounted unit (much more powerful than a stand alone). Turns out that they do primarily smoke and water damage what they are using is commercial, heavy duty equipment. It was obvious after the fact as the carpets although damp--were not wet. An indicator of heavy suction. The guys were professional, kind and clearly vested in their jobs. The work product was outstanding. I will definitely use again!
