They do regular car service and they do detailing for us also. I don't remember the cost. They serviced all of our cars. I'll probably give them A's for a dealership, even their prices are reasonable for a dealership.

They took out the old engine and put in the new. Some of that time was due to having to order the new engine and wait for it to come in. Sunrise Chevrolet had my car back to me in 4 days. The staff was very nice and helpful.

My Review Of Sunrise Chevrolet:Avoid Sunrise Chevy at all costs or it will cost you! My legs now go numb when driving due to Sunrise Chevy “fixing” my drivers seat by shoving a piece of foam under the leather in one spot. GM refuses to help me so now I’m out $6,000 - $10,000. Many lies and refusal to fix my vehicle properly with GM parts has led to a worsening of my vehicle. Sunrise Chevreolet has provided me the longest, most frustrating car buying experience I will, hopefully, ever have in my lifetime. I have learned many lessons over the last six months of trying to get them to make my car right, #1 is to listen to your gut, not the slick sales staff. Now, I am at fault for not paying attention to the many red flags that were raised during the car buying process. I also was searching for a car during an intensly exhausting and difficult time as my Mother was dying from pancreatic cancer. I also made the mistake of making my salesperson, Mike Fahkari, and the Used Car Sales Manager, Sam Youngs, aware of my Mother’s illness. I left after 10pm on a Friday night with many promises that they would detail the vehicle for me, fill it with gas, and complete the vehicle walk through. It took several visits to get the gas filled, six months for a true detailing, and I never received a vehicle walk through despite many requests. Never leave Sunrise Chevy without these items being completed or they will not be done without significant effort on your part. So, the red flags: 1. Certification disappears at final sale point. All parties were aware from the start that I would be purchasing an extended warranty due to my driving 25-30k per year. I was buying a Certified Used Vehicle, as per Sunrise Chevy’s advertising and sales pitch. Free oil changes, extended warranty to 36,000 miles, 3 months of XM radio and OnStar. The vehicle was priced per this certification, as Sam explained. Price did not go down due to certification being removed. It was after 10 pm when the final paperwork was being completed. Only at this point was I told that due to buying an extended warranty to 100,000 the certification on the car was null and void. If I hadn’t been so exhausted and tired of looking at cars, I would have walked out at this point. But, I trusted in Sunrise Chevy. Then they tried to sell me the oil change package for another $300.00. So, the sales pitch was completely different than the final product. It took several visits to get the gas tank filled, sticker glue removed, XM radio connected. They never gave me a vehicle walk through and I had to connect the On-Star. 2. Salesman Reaction to Concerns: “You’re asking for too much and being ridiculous.” On Monday, I spoke with Mike Fakhari regarding some things I noticed about the car after driving it for a distance. Mike’s response was far from professional, caught me off guard, and was something I had never previously experienced from a car dealer. In the past, this was expected and things were taken car of with no issues. But then, that was not at Sunrise Chevy. I should have returned the car immediately instead of waiting until after the holiday for the used car sales manager to contact me. The issues included: alignment, tire pressure, detailing not being done, cigarette burns in the floor mats, oil life at 19%, drivers seat shifting when turning, chip on hood, and chips on bumper. Per GM certification process, none of this ought to have been an issue. 3. Current Vehicle Status: After six months of trying to get this car right, Sunrise Chevy got it 80% there. They did a full detail, fixed the scratches on the bumper, replaced the tires (I had already had two fixed due to having screws in them which I am certain were there at purchase and the cause of the tire pressure issues, which ceased after the tires were fixed). The last 20% involves the necessity of replacing the driver’s seat, which they refuse to do and GM refuses to do. I can not keep the vehicle due to the fact that my legs now go numb when driving even short distances. Here’s the history of the driver’s seat issues: First, there was a clicking noise as it sounded like the seat shifted on the track when making turns. After two visits for service on this, it was noted that the seat track needed replacing. This was done. When I picked up the vehicle, I noted the left side of the seat didn’t look right, but Service claimed it was fine. I was now sitting on the plastic frame of the left side of the driver’s seat due to the seat foam having collapsed. Sunrise denied there was an issue and refused further service. I took it to another GM dealer whose service staff noted the collapsed foam from a distance. The foam was ordered and replaced. The seat still did not seem right, I still felt as though I was sitting on the frame. The seat at that point and still, does not look like the passenger seat. The drivers side is clearly crooked. Just before Thnaksgiving, Jeff H in service agreed to take care of the vehicle issues, including the seat. He promised me that the vehicle would be sent to a specialty upholsterer and that it would come back perfect. It did not and it was never sent to said upholsterer at that time despite Jeff’s stating at one point that he was waiting for the vehicle to return from the upholsterer. Sunrise Chevy’s paperwork confirms the vehicle did not go to the upholsterer. It did get returned squeaking terribly. So, again it goes back. This time it really did go to the upholsterer and there is paperwork to prove it. Again, it is still not right, and it is worse. Jeff claims that it is the seat position that causes the drivers side and passenger side seats to look different. Even in the exact same position, it is clear the driver’s seat is crooked. The seam is not straight, the padding is below the plastic frame, a gap exists between the padding and the plastic frame, and the seat presses against the console in the middle. The passenger seat has none of these characteristics. The “fix” this time was to shove some foam in one spot and stretch the leather. The heating element also no longer works properly. So, now my left hip is on the plastic frame, left thigh is pressed higher than my hip due to the extra foam in one spot, and my right leg is lower than my left side. This causes numbness in my legs, significant pain and beyond frustration as I drive 500 miles per week. Sunrise Chevy refuses to fix this issue. The seat needs to be completely scrapped and replaced. Completely replaced. I can’t ethically sell this car to an individual and the trade in value to a non-GM dealer is insanely low. This has caused me more distress and loss of work than I could have ever imagined. GM did attempt to work with Sunrise Chevy. Rob Dusek attempted to help me get out of this specific vehicle and into a brand new Malibu with financial assistance from GM to off-set any financial loss I may incur. Dan Kurtz, General manager, offered me a trade-in value $2,000 less than another GM dealer. This off-set GM’s assistance and left me out $6K and with a significantly higher car payment. It was clear that Dan was not willing to take any type of loss. As Dan stated, if he took back my vehicle with assistance from GM, my vehicle would have to be sold with the disclosure that there is something wrong with it so Dan would have a hard time selling it. These are only the main points. There are many, many other frustrations and lack of communication from Sunrise Chevy. This is how they treated a customer who they also knew has two other GM cars and was looking to buy a Camaro SS in the near future. The opportunity for a repeat customer was incredible. Now, I can’t ever see myself buying another GM car and I will do everything possible to make sure others are aware of Sunrise Chevy’s extreme lack of customer service.

My car would not start. The battery was fine but the engine would not "turn-over". I called Ernie's towing (local west- suburban company) to have my car towed ASAP to Sunrise Chevrolet. They were able to work me in on a busy Friday and give me an estimate for the repairs. They also noticed that I had some recall work that was needed to replace a faulty tail lamp housing on the rear driver-side. I had to wait a couple of days for parts on the tail lamp assembly and engine mount bolts to complete the work order. In the end, I was very satisfied with the work that was performed.
Description of Work: Fuel Pump replaced on 2001 Saturn Sedan as well as Engine Mounting Bolts that broke off and Serpentine Belt that was frayed. Diagnotics ran me an additional $200.00.

Service went fine and was done quickly and professionally.
Description of Work: Purchased a new Trailblazer from this dealer several months ago, and have used Sunrise for servicing that vehicle since then. Based on our experience with Sunrise, we also decided to take another Chevy that we owned to Sunrise for servicing. Last service performed was an oil change and tire rotation for one of our Chevrolets.
