Tom gave me a quoted price over the phone in February by the pictures I took of the cement stoop that needed resurfacing. As the weather improved, Tom gave me a date and time he'd be out to repair a severely damaged concrete stoop.  I thought I was going to have to replace it completely but then heard about resurfacing and found Tom on Angie's List.  The work was done today at the time he said he'd be here, and he actually fixed a couple of other cracked/damaged parts of the entry sidewalk at no extra costs.

Tom Kost is a consummate professional, and very personable, and after meeting him face to face, I knew I was in good hands. Although he had told me that a resurfacing wouldn't necessarily make the stoop look like new, IN FACT it looks better than new, and is now safer as the stoop's concrete (actually he informed me that the material he was using was Ardex - a coarse product that fills in the pock holes) is brushed.  I will use him again for other jobs, and will recommend him to anyone who is need of repairs and other services the company provides. 

If there were a 5 star rating here I'd give him a 10.

It went great, we had a crack in the foundation and the crack was leaking into my finished basement.  I called several people on Angie's List and Tom was able to come the next day, he gave me a professional quote and was able to schedule the job very quick.  He came on time, let me watch so I could see how it was done and explained everything to me.  Very professional and did a outstanding job.  Cleaned up after himself and didn't really make a mess

Tom was one a few concrete companies to even return my calls after severe storms last spring.  He came to the house for an estimate and was back within a few days for the work.  This spring, storms have been equally bad and his work has held.  No longer rushing to basement to check for leaks! Pleased with all aspects of this company and would recommend.

They did the work on time, however it seems that some of the workers had never used the product before. The finish wasn't quite right and didn't hold up. The owner didn't try to fix the problem.

Tom Kost is a very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable man -- he spent much time talking to us about our issues and was able to fix everything the same day. He left the areas in the basement that he worked in cleaner than they were when he got there. He never tried to sell us on anything extra than what we asked for, and he went above and beyond to point out where something was perhaps less of a big deal than we thought it was. His prices were extremely reasonable, far better than anything else we found on the North Shore. He is is not located near us but was available within two days and was able to give us an idea over the phone of what the cost would be before he got there. We would use him in the future without question.
