We've used Home Depot installations for a total kitchen rehab costing
close to $50,000, a new front decorative wood door, etc. I called to
request a replacement of my laundry sink, faucets, piping, valves, etc.
and unhappily agreed to pay an $89.95 estimate charge (which would be
waived if we had the work done). Then they requested my credit card
number to hold before they would even come to our home, of course
claiming they wouldn't be using it until the plumber had estimated the
job. The bad publicity that they've had all their credit card customer
numbers hacked recently plus the emails and passwords, etc. is just too
scary and a lot of nerve on their part. I'm not about to give my credit
card number out for no good reason. So on to another plumber for me!

Measuring was a simple and easily scheduled service. Hardest part was getting the wife to decide on the color and type of carpeting that she wanted.
