Granite And Marble Designers

We exchange our old countertops in the kitchen, 90 sq.f.
we are very happy with all processes which was involve with this project.  Project done in 2 weeks. Most hardest was to choose right color of granite to match kitchen cabinets.  We choose Neptuno Bordeaux for our dark cherry wood cabinets. Looks beautiful.  Installation was in 1 days, professionally done on day we choose. Good price too! Very friendly team!

Donna and John Schubert are consummate professionals.  From choosing granite to installation, the team was there to assist and answer any questions.  Donna took me out to view granite samples at a number of showrooms.  There are many to choose from and I appreciated the time she took to assist in finding the right look for our kitchen.  John contacted me directly to confirm our plans for the granite - edges, shape, etc...   I was invited to their shop to give direction on "taping out" where I wanted each piece of granite to be placed.  This was important as the granite I chose had a lot of "movement".  I had the opportunity to make design decisions rather than them making them for me.  During installation, Ramone was very professional and answered any quesitons.  He and his team were very friendly and efficient.  The job was completed in one day.  I would highly recommend them.

The story is as above. Granite and Marble Designers stood out service wise from the moment I
walked in.  I was a customer, not a small job, which I felt like at one
place I visited.   The owner Mr.John Schubert couldn't have been nicer
or easier to work with, and his wife Donna was available to help us with
any design questions we had.  John showed me some slabs they had in the
shop and informed me that there were many more at their warehouse.  As
it happened the perfect slab of granite to match the painted cabinets we
have was right there in the shop.  While in the shop area John
introduced me to Ramone,  his fabricator and installer, who John
described as an artist.                     
       Mr. Schubert  worked with us on price but again service was
the reason we chose Granite and Marble Designers.  We set a day and
time for John to come and measure.     He was on time  and walked me
through choosing the right sink, which we just love,16 gage double sink,
one smaller,one large and deep.  He also recognized that one end of the
counter would need added support and had two steel L brackets  made to 
be installed for the granite to rest on and give that needed support. 
The day they were cutting and fabricating the counter top John emailed
me a  picture of  how it looked which I appreciated and made me all the
more excited.  When the day came for the installation, they arrived on
time,  covered the floors, protected the cabinets, and removed the old
top and sink.  One could tell Ramone and his helper knew what they were
doing.  They worked efficiently, professionally, and skillfully.  The
granite needed to be in two pieces, and it fit beautifully.  John had
also encouraged us to get a taller back splash which we love.  When they
were finished and ready to leave, Ramone presented us with a cutting
board made from a piece  of our granite.  Nice touch especially when
this was a small job for a kitchen.
  The end result is a gorgeous new granite counter top that we love. 
The first couple of weeks I almost felt guilty being so excited over a
counter top, but it looks sooo  good!

EXCELLENT and outstanding granite experience!!!  It is very nice to see true professionals still exist and take the worries out of your granite project. I can say I had an excellent experience from start to finish. John Schubert (owner) always returned my phone calls and answered my emails. I had many questions and he was willing to take time to discuss my questions and make sure I was comfortable with the answers.  I had contact a few different vendors but Granite and Marble Designers was less expensive they treating my project like it was their top priority. My granite project was a smaller kitchen in my basement but every staff member had my best interest in mind.  They offered to go to several granite places with me and help me pick out the granite that I had described to them. I opted to drive to the facilities myself and make a selection. After I selected my granite they handled everything from start to finish.  I was especially impressed with Ramon who did the fabrication. I asked for a custom edge I had not seen before. Ramon took me into the shop and worked with me till he created the type of edge I wanted. They scheduled the delivery and took extra care to cover the floors and make sure my wood floors we not marred or soiled. The Ramon took time to install the sink perfectly and drill the sink faucet hole perfectly. He leveled all the granite perfectly. I took an 8 foot level and checked it 4 ways. It was perfectly level. He sealed and cleaned up after the job and was very knowledgeable in making sure the exact gaps were left for the refrigerator and stove.   Before he left he had me check and approve everything and gave me tips on how to care for the granite and suggested a couple of product to keep it looking great for a lifetime. After about one week I received a post install follow-up call from the owner John Schubert to see how I was doing. He asked how things looked and wanted to know if there was any other question I had or if there is something else he could do for me. I can say with certainty it is worth it to check out this business. They are really first rate but nice people that really care about the customer and take pride in doing a perfect job at a great price. I thought it may benefit others to hear about my great experience.

I just had my granite counters and under mount SS sink installed.....Perfection!  I could not be happier with the company. Spoke with John initially and then Donna worked with me with general quoting for different grades of granite. John came out and measured our kitchen for exact dimensions.  This is a small company, but very attentive, patient and responsive, even with an unfortunate illness within their company, I was never put off or ignored.  We were directed to their supplier where we were able to pick out our own slab of granite.  Within a week we have our counter top with sink installed.  Ramon fabricated the counters and he and another came out to install them.  They took great care not to damage or mark our cabinets, walls or floors, the put protective covering on floors and cleaned up after themselves and removed old counter and sink.  They sealed the counters completely and guarantee there work.  Thank you Donna, John and Ramon!

Excellent experience.

Donna (one of the owners) came out to our place for an estimate and consultation.  The same day, even before she knew if we were going with them for the work, she went slab shopping with us to find the right stone.  She had suggestions and recommendations all along the way, but never forced her own tastes or opinions on us.  When we  couldn't find a piece we liked, she went to additional shops and put a couple of stones on hold for us to look at.  One of the stones she selected was perfect for us.

After we found the stone, she scheduled final measurements and installation right away, and within a week and a half the counters were installed.  

The guys who did the final measurements and installation were extremely professional and competent.  They worked hard all day and did the full install - including removal and disposal of old countertops and undermounting our new sink - in about 6 hours.  

Overall, we had a very good experience.

We were very pleased with the service provided by John and Donna.  The installers were completely professional.  They obviously knew what they were doing and installed the countertop by mid afternoon.  They cleaned up and left the kitchen as they found it.  We had shopped around and found that their pricing was fair and competitive.  We are very pleased with the results.

When our cabinets went in, Keek and Kim came out to our home, and took the measurements all over again. They even helped us with a steel backsplash behind the cooktop - an odd set of issues with thick tiles merging with thin steel! Within a week, a very professional team of installers showed up with the steel and quartzite countertops. The fabrication was fabulous. I was expecting many seams, but they managed to fabricate with minimal seams. A lovely surprise! The installation was outstanding and very professional. They covered the floor before beginning their work, to avoid damage. They installed without any issues, and polished every surface before they left. We've had our share of quirks with almost every item in the kitchen renovation, with the exception of one - countertops!!! We really do feel lucky to have come across such a wonderful and professional team of fabricators!
