+ -1 moreGo Foam's first visit revealed that the crawlspace had water problems. Go Foam gave a quote but was a bit high. I asked for their best price available to use coupon deal and have additional work done. The price was lowered, then followed by a phone call with a new lower price. I received quotes from other Angie's List providers, got a better deal. I don't like dickering that much. Want your best deal firm and early. The work done was done well and quickly. My kitchen was warmer after the crawlspace was sealed.
Description of Work: Sprayed the perimeter of our crawlspace walls.

Description of Work: Came in right away after Big Deal was purchased, with gear to spray the foam. Sprayed the foam around the perimeter of the basement where the basement ceiling meets the upstairs floor. Spray was successful; in the correct locations and neat. Also helped us move out of way and back in place some of the larger items in basement,and gave us an estimate for additional work on other floors of 110 year old house.

+ -1 moreEverything went well. It even stopped seepage when it rains hard. Less bugs and better insulation. I was even able to get estimates for the other areas in the house. They were very knowledgeable with their product.
Description of Work: They sprayed 2" of closed cell foam to all sill boxes of basement.

+ -1 moreOverall it went well, the company contacted us immediately after we purchased the coupon. They came over within a week, gave us a quote on the original work we wanted done. They then made an appointment to do the work, they were here did it and no complaints. The only issue was that the smell is very strong, so I would suggest staying out of the home for at least 6-8 hours after the work is completed.
Description of Work: We used Gofoam because we were able to book an angies deal coupon for insulation in our basement. Gofoam was prompt, professional and gave a fair price quote. They insulated our basement and crawl space. We were impressed by how professional and thorough they were as a company. I would definitely use them again. We can already tell that the insulation is working in that particular part of the house.

Description of Work: Paid-for services were not performed. The offer did not state, nor did the company explain, that the appointment set up was NOT to do the work for which I paid through the Special Big Deal, but rather to send over a sales rep to give an estimate of thousands more dollars of supposedly needed work. Nor did the rep, who is very good, know that the customer was expecting the work to be done that day. I'd not been informed that old insulation must removed before the paid-for work can be performed - which is fine, but that fact was not stated in the offer nor in setting up the original appointment. Now I'm trying to arrange for that to be done so I can reschedule getting the original foam work done.

+ -1 moreI tried to hire them under an Angie's List coupon offer to put foam insulation around all the baseboards in my basements. They came out and told me that the way my basement was configured it wouldn't work. They actually ended up not rendering any services but they were very good about it because they could have sprayed a little foam in there and taken my money and I would never have known any different. But they kind of did the ethical thing and told me it wouldn't be right for them to do it even though I already had paid for it so they told me how to call Angie's List and get a refund. I will use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Go Foam to review my basement to see if putting foam insulation would be possible.

+ -1 moreOverall, the end result was great. I wanted to make my house greener and more energy efficient. Gofoam is the only company who not only recommended foaming the ceiling in my attic but also the basement which has made a huge difference in the entire house, No other vendor made that recommendation. Gofoam was the most knowledgeable and experienced out of everyone who gave me a quote and the end result has made a big difference and is definitely reducing my energy costs as promised. They provide a service that pays for itself in energy savings and you also get a tax credit.
Description of Work: Spray foam insulation in my attic with the end result of having a ventless attic, and also are the only foam insulator who included doing part of my basement and the end result is that my basement is literally 15 degrees warmer. It is currently 13 degrees outside and my house feels very toasty warm.
