I thought these guys were great. They did what they promised without a hassel and my floors look really good. They definitely beat the competition on pricing among all the contractors I checked out who carried insurance.

Arthur was great inexpensive really knew his craft moved furniture no problem. His guys are great. However at the end of an 8 day Job they got lazy with the stain missed a some seams (wow) and splashed some stain. I was dumb enough to pay in full when touch ups were needed. It took about 12 phone calls and 5 weeks to get them back and when they did they forgot the some supplies So still 99 percent done. I did not bother calling him back. It would take too many calls to get action.

Two men came out and installed the floor. The job looked good except for one area where the board was not level with the one next to it. A dirt catcher I thought to myself. The owner came out and repaired it, instructing us not to walk on it for 24 hours.  Quite honestly there wasn't much change because it became unlevel in a different area. I gave up and let it go. Six months later the floor starting popping when we walked on it. I called the owner of Discount floors who blamed it on the fact it was Bamboo and that's the nature of bamboo going on and on about how bamboo isn't all it's cracked up to be, it's not that eco friendly and on and on. He also blamed it on the sub-flooring, the weather, the humidity, the change of seasons...blah blah blah blah blah. He blamed it on everything but himself and his installers. There is a bamboo floor where I work. It was installed three years ago and has never made a popping noise since. When I looked on line to see what may have caused it I read that when installing a new wood floor the wood should be acclimated to the home it's going in by allowing it to sit before installation. None of that was done. This company is unwilling to back it's work. I was told by the owner in so many words he can't make money by doing things over.  My response was do quality work in the first place and you won't have to do anything over. he refused to  come out to see the problem or to do anything about it. Don't use this company.if you want quality work. In the end you get what you pay for.I guess the name speaks for itself. Next time I'd use a place called Qua;lity Flooring.
