Home Repair Fraud. Theft by deception. We got a new floor and the installer said his brother was the field estimator and was authorized to remove the "Kitchen Cabinets"? We never wanted cabinets from a flooring company, But they targeted the owner because she is 91 years old and took them. Months later we got them back from the ex-con and hoodlum they sent to rob the owner totally destroyed and had to pay another $1300 to get them back. We feared for our safety because they wanted to know if the house was for sale and what types of cars we were driving. They prey upon the elderly. Do not use this company unless you have a criminal attorney on retainer. Stay away from DeSitter at all costs.

The customer service (after some initial glitches with samples) is outstanding! The expertise of the sales staff is top notch. They even came to our home with samples! And we cannot say enough about the installation team. Arcadio is a true artist who is meticulous with his work. His assistant, Jose, did an extraordinary job, too! How they could carry the rolls of carpet still astounds us! The installation team worked two full days with diligence and care for our home. We had 5 rooms completed in our home. Each room is beautiful! Thank you DeSitter for making our home stunning!

At DeSitter La Grange, we met with Allan Beuke who showed us several options, along with a recommendation & ballpark cost. We took samples home, made our decision and returned to the showroom to place our order. Allan came to our home the next day to take final measurements. The crew arrived as scheduled, removed our old carpeting and installed the new carpeting very efficiently, working without a break. The crew's work was very clean & the finished job is perfect! We will recommend De Sitter at every opportunity.

This is our 5th flooring project in 15 years and we have always used DeSitter for both our carpeting and tile needs. We were very pleased with the quality of the tile and the professionalism of the staff. We worked with Debi in the store, and had Pete and his assistant for the installation. My only complaint about this project was the length of time it took to get the project completed. It took over a week for someone just to call me to set up a time to come out and take measurements, and almost 3 weeks for someone to call to set up an installation time after I placed my order. I would definitely recommend DeSitter, but allow several weeks for your project to be completed.

The salesman in LaGrange (Allan Beuke) was extremely helpful. The carpet arrived on time, scheduling installation was easy and the two installers were fantastic!!! They really worked hard, did an excellent job and put up with me having them move furniture inches to the left or right to have it where I wanted it. They could not have been more professional. This is the second time we have used DeSitter for carpeting. (previously in LaGrange) and we were thrilled both times. I highly recommend them. And, they are no more expensive than the "big box" stores.

Very broad selection of carpet to choose from. Installation went very well. The installation crew moved all heavy furniture in four bedrooms and installed carpet. Seams appear to be very tight and currently seem invisible. Very happy with job. The only negative issues were that the installation crew did not have the agreed upon seam locations but they resolved the issue very well. Also, upon completion it was necessary to call the office to get credit card approval and the code for the crew and no one answered the phone at either number provided and the crew had to get someone to help them out so they could get their authorization code that was required.

We used DeSitter Flooring today for the first time to carpet two bedrooms upstairs. The staff was tremendously helpful in matching our carpet with our paint selection. The installation crew took great care to protect or walls and stairs when bringing in the carpet. They were very courteous and made sure everything was cleaned and vaccumed before leaving. I had three quotes for this project. DeSitter was the best price and was able to install very quickly. I highly recommend them for their quality services.

Workers did a great job. The only concern, is that the company schedules the install the day before, but that means that I would have to take a full day off form work, to be there whenever it is convenient for them. I was off that day anyway, so didn't aske if they could be more flexible, ie, make it an AM or PM install, vs me having to be available for the whole day.

Typically, we schedule installs about a week prior and I see that yours was scheduled 10 days before. We do, however, call the day before to confirm the installation date and time (a 2 hour window for eta of our installation team) once more. I will look more into why you may have not received the first notification of your installation date. As far as the AM vs PM, we try our best to make this option available for our customers to choose but if it happens to be a situation in which we are notified on a short notice from the customer or their salesperson, we may have a slight difficulty accommodating that request. This was a perfectly smooth transaction, from the service provided in the showroom through installation last Spring. No problems have developed with regard to the carpet itself or its installation. While the cost may seem high to some, this was due to my selection of carpet for a high traffic area.

The carpet installers arrived on time. They moved all the heavy furniture out of the office, installed the carpeting and moved everything back in record time. They were very professional and easy to work with. This is our second time using Desitter and we are just as pleased as we were the first time using them when we had our entire second floor with 4 bedrooms, hallway and 2 staircases installed with new carpet.

The salesperson who came to measure gave us a quote that seemed delightfully low. Then I learned that he didn't actually listen to what I wanted and had only measured half the area we wanted done.
We did get the carpet put in, and within less than a year, holes started to appear in the carpet, with tufts of yarn falling out. We called DeSitter to have them come look at what was happening, and it took, literally, months to get someone out to do the inspection.
When they did finally come, (after I spent hours calling them back and trying to get them to come out) they claimed that the damage was due to cleaning products in the carpet and refused to cover the damage. They offered to patch in a new piece for a fee, but we were so frustrated with them that we chose not to pay them more money to have them fix carpet that is falling apart.
