Chris Karasiewicz Painting & Decorating

This project went very smoothly and I'm very happy.  Chris is a great guy and has done lots of painting for us in the past- which he is excellent at- great prices and I can't say enough about the quality of his work.  I think he's painted every room in our home at this point, after 8 years. :)  He cleans up well when he is finished with projects.  He did some other smaller carpentry/repair projects for me, so when I got a very overpriced estimate from remodeling company, I decided to call him to see if he could do our kitchen remodel.  Chris has been professional, fast, and reasonable.  He took down the walls to our kitchen in one day.  He found a referral for a trustworthy electrician through his connections and worked well with the electrician, who he hadn't worked with in the past.  The total estimate for the project (which was not a complete kitchen remodel, just partial) was about 3 weeks and he was right on target.  He went with me to the floor and tile store to pick out everything so we all knew we were getting the correct type of flooring and underlayment.  Chris is reliable- shows up when he says he will, and I've known him long enough and have trusted him to be in my home alone and lock up when he leaves.  I can't recommend him enough and think he would do a great job in any area- carpentry, flooring, tiling, or painting, whether a big or small job.

Once again, Chris has done excellent work for us.  He helped us choose the right paint/stain and did a perfect job and the garage looks so much better now (especially the poxy paint and sparkles on the garage floor).  His prices are always reasonable and he starts on time and finishes on time and cleans up the job site like he was never there.  He'll also come back to touch something up if you feel it needs to be.  He's a hard working local family man and I like giving my business to nice people.  This is the fourth job he's done for us (others included painting our newly remodeled kitched and basement, refinishing our dining room table and chairs, and painting our newly carpeted living room and kids bedrooms).  He'll get my painting business every time.

Chris built new walls (adding new insulation and drywall). He built the shower, and installed porcelain tiles. He removed the old staircase, and painted walls. Overall, he did very good job. Our new basement looks terrific. He works fast, and he is detail minded. For the project of remodeling our kitchen we could not have chosen a better contractor.
