"In response to the customers review and reason for me not following up with them, we had a unexpected death in the family that took time away from my business. I apologize for not responding as quickly as I should have but under the circumstances I was unable to. I always try to make sure my customers are well taken care of and go above and beyond what is expected of me and my company and always will. I hope the project was completed and the customer is satisfied. I trust you understand the position I was in, however If I can do anything further for you, I would make it a priority to get it taken care of. Once again I apologize. Sincerely / William J. Tenuta."

"Reply of A.C.B. Masonry L.L.C, to Patsy Miracle regarding brick and masonry work at 1349 N.Greenview Ave. Chicago Il. 60642. When I was originally contacted by members, I was not informed about any building code nor zoning violations. As it turned out, the members inability or refusal to resolve the building code and zoning violations with the City of Chicago made completion of their project not only impossible but illegal. All work that was permissible within the scope of the original " repair or replacement permit was completed. Any work I did was approved by the City of Chicago. Contrary to member assertion, the building front was not left open at anytime, and no debris was left on the premises. Regarding placement of the brick, they were located in the 1st floor storefront at the direction of member. Members also accuse me of asking for and receiving more money than the agreed contract down payment and change orders. This is absolutely false, and they cannot produce any checks or receipts to prove otherwise. I can document any of my statements of fact regarding the problems with the City of Chicago. At all times, I was honest and ethical in my dealings with members. Because of the zoning and code problems with the City of Chicago, they choose to abandon the project and now accuse me of failing to complete the job. They said they are in possession of the brick to finsh the job. Have they hired someone else to finish? No they haven`t because the problems with the City of Chicago remain unresolved. I submit that this alone proves my factual representations to be true. William J.Tenuta Owner, A.C.B Masonry L.L.C."
"In reply to member. I was contacted by member regarding concrete repair work. and I did submit a estimate. The condition and area of concrete work to be replaced was substancial and I believe the estimate was appropriate for the size of the project. I believe in doing any project correctly and with in building code requirements. In responce to " No job to small ", as you can see in a few of my reports on Angie`s List there are very small jobs that I am always happy to do, and I believe in doing professional workmanship the smaller projects and as well as the larger one`s. I am sorry that member thought my estimate was not what she was looking for and I hope she was able to have her project completed. William J. Tenuta, Owner A.C.B. Masonry L.L.C."
"In responce to member. Yes member did call for a estimate and I did reply. I did go to her residence, and evaluated her masonry project and upon inspection there were a few cracks that needed to be repaired. I did give her a estimate, and she did try to give me a down payment which I said was not needed and that payment was due upon completion and customer satisfaction. But due to above average continuous rains, scheduling became a factor, masonry repair work cannot be performed in certain conditions and I would not attempt to perform repairs because the work would not be satisfactory. In responce to not returning her phone calls I notified member a number of times, I am sorry that she thought that I did not want to perform the repairs, but due to weather my hands were tied. In responce that "no job is to small" , in a few of my reports on Angie` List you can see that I have completed to the customers satisfaction projects that were much smaller than member. I am sorry that she felt like I did not want to perform the repair work and I hope that she was able to get the project complete. William J. Tenuta Owner A.C.B. Masonry L.L.C."
