David Young

We've had David do a couple of jobs for us. One was a bit of an emergency and he came quickly and took care of that for us. The other was a multi-task job involving a porch light, stair rail, and bathroom fan. We're completely satisfied with the work.

David was very helpful and capable. He did a good job. He even helped with a couple of small items that he did not charge me for. His overall price for the plumbing was higher than the other handymen I spoke with, but his work was quite good. Overall, I was happy with what he did. He is a gentleman.

Dave showed up on time, and performed the jobs in a very professional manner. He even went to get some parts that were necessary to properly install the sump pump.
I have use Dave in the past and he has always performed the highest quality work and a very reasonable cost, and in a fast, efficient manner.
I would recommend Dave to anyone needing a "handy man" for the long list of services he provides.

Dave and his son came out to hang a door and "cut-down" another one ...Or in other words, came to fix a DIY project, and we couldn't be happier.  They were so courteous, professional and efficient.  They explained everything to me and took time to show me how to do it correctly.  If you had a home inspection done for the buying or selling of you house, and there needs to be "corrections' done first, Call them - they specialize in that and can accomplish all the tasks on your list...We will definitely be utilizing his business for future projects.

We have used him a couple times and will be using him this week for another project. He does what he says he's going to, prices are fair and is very personable. We are lucky to have found him on Angie's List!

David was a pleasure to work with.  He returned my initial call promptly and we set up a time for him to come over.  He is obviously very knowledgeable in all areas of construction and home repair.  I would definitely have him complete projects for me again.

David arrived the morning after I called because he said he was in town.  He tested the light and discovered the problrm.  He went shopping for the parts that he needed, returned and fixed the light.  It now works like new.

David came out and assessed my need, then came out the following day and did the work.
David is a very professional and personal person, and we resolved my lighting issue effieciently.
I couldn't have been more pleased with his service, and will DEFINITELY call him again when I have an issue requiring a handyman. He provides a wide variety of services to satisfy the homeowners needs.

He's a very nice man, does wonderful work. His rates are okay and he's pleasant. He does the job and that's good. He was real good and we're going to have him come back. He did everything that we asked. He is a nice gentleman. He speaks nice and he does what he says and he gets it done and he's on his way. He was on time. He's going to come back in a couple of weeks to move a door from our kitchen.

I contacted Mr. Young at 7:30 am and explained that the  smoke detector indicated  a low battery signal.  The battery needed to be changed.  Mr. Young rearranged his schedule to accommodate me since this was a very small job.  He arrived at 8:00 am and was finished in a very few minutes. His fee was more than reasonable.  I will definitely use his services for any other jobs I might have and will be calling him in one year, as was his recommendation, to replace all the smoke detector batteries in my home.  Excellent service!

Because I want a handyman to be able to trust on an ongoing basis, and because this was an outside job, I did not give David a schedule. Also, I know that there are days in which contractors can do a couple of hours of your work in between larger job tasks.
From beginning to end, the job was done very quickly from my perspective and what I had offered for flexibiliy.  David is thorough, creative, highly competent, and a joy to work with. 

David was great!  He worked with my extremely erratic schedule, was super-polite, and very clean.  He even took his shoes off to come into my home!  The work only took him a few hours and turned out great.  Plus, his pricing included all materials and labor, and was very reasonable.  I would have no problem calling David again!

Very well. Accomodated my schedule. Performed the work to my expectations and did a good overall job... even repairing a couple of minor items that were beyond the initial project we discussed at no additional cost.

He arrived on time and was very polite and professional.  He checked out all the issues first and then let me know what he thought.  After I gave the ok he got right to work.  I would highly recommend him.

David Young and his associate, did an outstanding job on both major fencing and minor siding repairs for us. David was super conscientious, very reasonably priced, efficient and did an excellent job on both repair projects. We were very impressed and will definitely contact him again when we have repair needs. He is also listed as "The Trier Corporation". Contacting him direct worked best for us.

David was referred to me by a local realtor. Against my better judgement I am writing about this fellow--if everyone knows about him then I may never be able to schedule him to work for us again. The shelving collapsed in our walk in closet days after we moved into our home and I called him to see when he could come out to take a look. "I'll be right there", was his reply. And then he was at my door. He is a clean, polite, well spoken gentleman (like they don't make gentlemen like this anymore), who takes immense pride in the quality of his work. He was extremely courteous to our daughter who is moderately developmentally disabled and slightly unintelligible. Our house was a mess of moving boxes and the closet was a sagging and fallen disaster. He measured the closet, ran right away to the local home improvement store, had them cut everything, returned lickety-split, carefully removed the old shelves, meticulously installed the new shelves and cleaned up after himself. He had everything itemized on the receipt from the store and what he did not use he did not charge me for (he just returned it to the store). I mean, this all happened in 3 hours, total. We have never experienced this level of quality from someone who was referred to us as a "handyman". When he left it was as if our house now had new potential because we knew, really knew, that there was a person we can trust for anything house-handy and it will get done just right. Later that night my husband came home and was delighted by how it looked and how much it cost. And then we both started writing up a wish list for David to do someday!
