I personally knew 2 of the Cassens family, and they were good people, but I'm not sure if any Cassens are directly involved in the dealership anymore. I had a similar experience as Anna, only I didn't buy my jeep from them. But I took it there for a mysterious rattle in the front end and after spending $800 there, I thought it was fixed. It returned in a few months and I took it in again and spend another $800 plus diagnostic. Now I'm out $1700. Rattle was still there when I picked it up. Steve, the service manger is a nice guy but nice didn't fix my vehicle! They then quoted me another $800 to fix "another part" - I'd now be out $2500! I sent a letter asking for help to the General Manager, Larry Wehmeyer, with my contact information - no response. So, I took it to Federico in Wood River and they fixed it for good for only $400 - half what Cassens quoted me! READ THIS PART: I was so bummed out that I wrote a letter to Michael Manley, the CEO of FCA (Chrysler Parent Company), and within 1 day of receiving the letter, he had a pesonal assistant call me! She agreed that the charges at Cassens were unreasonable and questioned why I'd go back there a second or third time for the same problem. She then sent me a check to cover the cost of the parts! Thanks to her, and Courtni at Federico, I'll stay a Chrysler customer but never again go to Cassens. The bread and butter of their business is the service department and if you go there for service be ready to spend $$$$ and hope for a completed fix!

I go there for routine maintenance. They always keep me informed on what I need done on my vehicle and when they noticed my tires were getting close to needing replacement, they let me know about the current specials and rebates and we're sure to get me in before the special expired. Staff is always friendly and knows my name. They are never pushy or try to sell you services you don't need. I have bought my past three vans from them and wouldn't go any where else.

Took my truck in for routine maintenance on a Friday before a holiday and discovered that I needed a new transmission. they got me a rental car while my truck was in the shop and gave me 5 days for free since the replacement took me across two weekends and a holiday. Truck got done a day earlier then I expected, drives great. had convenient pick up hours also for people that work all day.

When the cars come out, they are fixed the first time. The service people are friendly. The place is organized. They also have online booking. The best thing about them is that I don't have to keep going back. I always felt like they have good prices. They follow through. They do what they say they are going to do. I like dealing with them, and I have been dealing with them for years.
