I have used these guys in the past. Kevin York and his father are consummate professionals...and very trustworthy. They were competitive and showed up on time. They weren't able to start the job on Wednesday because the windows hadn't been delivered yet from Marvin (the manufacturer), but they called and kept in contact and rescheduled for the following Monday. Showed up at 8 am as scheduled. I checked these guys out with a representative from Marvin (the manufacturer) and they said they are one of the best. This is the 3rd time we have used them and the are very trustworthy ad know there jobs. We never allow contractors in the house without one of us home...but we trust them so much we left them home several times during this project. They removed 17 large windows completely, cleaned the openings and installed the new windows, added outside and inside trim and cleaned up before leaving each day. My wife loved that they vaccummed around the windows each day. One thing they recommended was to get the windows and trim pre-painted. The manufacturer will pre-paint windows, but they have another vendor that will pre=paint the trim. This saved us tons of time. Once they chalked the nail holes on the trim, all we had to do was put a light final coat of paint over the trim...worked great. Also, for those of you wanting to paint yourself, here is a tip: You can buy paper rolls (6-8" wide) in the paint section. Take and tape around the new window before the final trim (casing) is put on. This allows you to paint the trim without getting paint on the walls. If you want to paint the walls, just fold the paper over and tape to the trim and you can paint the wall without getting paint on your fresh, new trim. When finished use a razor knife and slit the paper along the trim and remove...simple. Can't say enough good things about these guys.
