Excellent quality. It was a longer project, so it took a couple weeks. The communication and interaction was good. They cleaned up very well after they completed the job.

Everything went well and we were happy with John's service. He was the only contractor who showed up to give us a quote that actually brought sample materials along with him, so we were impressed by that. The only negative was that we had to sort of watch his painter, although a very nice guy, and keep asking questions to ensure that we were going to have straight paint lines without any slop. Overall, everything turned out great, and we will be using John again in the future.

John was absolutely great to work with. He came on site for the estimate and took the time to talk to us about what we wanted and offered various options that we had not considered. This was not something any of the other contractors did (and we had 3 other contractors quote!). He offered to bring samples so that we could see how everything looked prior to making our final decision. During the work, John was a perfectionist. He prides himself on his work and above all wants to make sure his customers are happy. He spent extra time to fix other people's mistakes. For example, he adjusted and rehung all of the doors (which I hung myself) just to make sure that when the trim and casings were installed, everything looked great and I was happy. He was extremely accommodating to mine and my wife's schedule, which is hard because she works nights and must sleep during the day. So he adjusted his work to be as quite as possible while she was sleeping or while I was on conference calls. At the end of the job, he walked around the entire condo with me to make sure I was happy with everything. He took the time to show me how to caulk and spackle the trim and give advice on painting it. Before leaving he told me that if I notice anything is wrong, just to give him a call and he will come by and fix it up. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend John. If you are looking for the fastest and cheapest guy, he probably isn't your man. But if you are looking for someone who takes his time and gives you great quality work at a very reasonable price, you should definitely go with him! Note: The picture was taken during the project after the first door was cased. I still need to spackle, caulk, and paint the trim prior to taking the finished pictures.

Hired John again to finish my upper level.  His work is great all around. It took him about 4 days to do all of the work, and it has improved the look of the house from the bad 1970s look it had.  His attention to detail and making it look perfect is exceptional. He cleaned up at the end of each day, and removed all of  the debris.  If i ever redo another room, John will get the call to finish it.

We were very comfortable with John in our home, he takes great pride in his work and goes above and beyond to help troubleshoot different issues that come up along the way. During the course of the project the dishwasher  flooded on the new flooring which was just installed (by another contractor). John stopped by just to check on things and make sure everything was okay. I would highly recommend John to anyone. We look forward to working with him again in the future.

John is great. His attention to detail is superior. On the 1st appointment he provided his thoughts of what would work in my house and make it look up to date. He then brought in sample trim and molding to look at. His ideas were perfect. It took him 2 days to do the work, and at the end of each day he cleaned up as best as he could. He even fixed up some minor issues from the floor installer I had who didn't give as much attention to detail as John does. I will definitely use him to finish the rest of my house in the future.

TrimCraft come out and customized the front posts on our porch. I had pictures of what I wanted as my wife and I were selling our house and the posts looked like tooth picks. John is unbelievable and so professional. He made up samples of what the posts would look like based on our pictures. He was right on and added a few extra details that made it look better than the picture.
We thought this would add some curb appeal and wow did it ever, house sold in 3 weeks! Many of the neighbors asked for John's information, including next door. I have not had luck with construction companies but John is one of the last good ones.

We had an awesome experience with Trim Craft, Inc. My house looks brand new! I am remodeling my kitchen and wanted a new look for my builder grade island and I also wanted crown molding and new baseboard. I showed John a photo of an island that I liked and he was able to replicate it to my specifications. He took the time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. The rest of his work was also excellent. I felt his price was extremely fair. He really exceeded my expectations. It was a pleasure to have him working in my home and I really appreciated his eye for detail. Highly recommended!!!

Their prices are very reasonable for an excellent work. There is nothing I dislike. He is a perfectionist. I would recommend him over anybody else.

We were extremely happy with the service and quality that we received from John at Trim Craft. Going into this project, we had a good general idea of what we wanted to do, and John leveraged his experience and insights to provide us with additional ideas to meet our design goals, but without feeling like we were losing the essence of what we wanted. He was able to draw up a detailed estimate of the work, so it was very clear what we were going to get. The work was performed over five and a half days and completed right on schedule, which was very important as we had painters scheduled to come in immediately afterwards to paint all the trim and wainscoting. The work was done to a very high quality standard, and John took care to make sure that he reviewed any critical design decisions with us before proceeding, and then we reviewed the work as he proceeded. He treated our house with care and respect, and cleaned up at the end of each day. John was also very flexible and accommodating to help with one small carpentry problem that we had elsewhere in the house. We will certainly be using Trim Craft again for our next carpentry project to add crown molding and bookcases in our family room, and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

John was great - he is friendly, professional, and a perfectionist (in a good way!). I felt that the cost was very reasonable for the scope of work, which I expanded once I realized what a great job John does. My home has many odd angles and ceiling levels and I have had multiple trim carpenters who have come to look at the work and offer no ideas on how work with these odd angles. John, however, viewed them as an interesting challenge and figured out how to work these anomalies into a design that is very pleasing to the eye. John even went above and beyond when he saw a poor trim job on one of my doors and fixed it for me at no additional charge!

The whole process was really easy with John/Donna @ Trim Craft. They were out for an estimate with in a few days of contacting them and we were able to schedule the job exactly to the timing I requested. The work is top knotch and John even went above and beyond to make sure I got the best customer service experience by fixing a few other small nagging problems without hesitation. All of the materials came in pre-primed and were delivered a few days before the project so that we could put a quick coat of paint on them before installation. We love our updates - a great company to work with and a great investment.

Since JIM's Custom Woodworking didn't follow through I now had an issue to get our job completed by Thanksgiving.

I informed John that I wanted to be involved in the process and provided pictures of things we liked. John's took it upon himself, knowing that I was very visual and produced samples for each area he worked on. He was very unique in the fact that he wanted us to be involved with the process and was so easy to work with, NEVER an attitude as you get with many trades people. The transformation of our home for what we paid is unbelievable. We are going to have realtor's come in to provide the value of our home as it looks like a custom built home. I also want to note that John was able to develop a custom cabinet from a copy of a picture. This cabinet is the centerpiece of the kitchen and turned out perfect. As they say," behind every good man is a woman". Donna kept the communcation flowing and ensured all products were there when the job was rolling. She even went to pick-up supplies the same day when I asked to make a change in our design.

I can keep going on and on about John and Donna. I have supplied various pictures of the work that John did. We have a cheap camera and I'm terrible at taking pictures. The pictures certainly do not show how his worked transformed our home.

People often end the review by saying you will not be sorry if you use this company. John and Donna, I'm afraid, are unique in this day and age, they truly love what they do and provide a service that is a thing of the past!
