I contacted Anthony Rakestraw an independent floorcovering installer who runs his own business Rakestraw Flooring. He came out and gave me his estimate which I thought was reasonable for the job. Which was removing the old flooring and installing underlayment, and then the new vinyl.
The area to be done was 6 ft. X 10 ft. with stool and shower. The shower was not a square one, and had an angle configuration to give it more room inside which would make it harder to cut and install the vinyl around it.. He did a good job of it.
With out my requesting it he took the stool out and laid the underlayment and vinyl under it. This is something to be aware of, as some installers will just lay them up to the stool an cut them to fit around it.
I would recomend him for doing this type of work.
