"We have reviewed the service history for your account. We understand your frustration but your heating system is in need of replacement due to its age. We have listed what we completed below which in summary is all associated with aging pipes and sediment/rust in the system causing the components to stick/plug. Our first service call at in February of 2018, we found the sight glass needed to be replaced which was causing a leak in the system, replaced and refilled system. In December of 2018 we returned and found the fill valve was bad causing the boiler to overfill with water, we replaced the float valve, and recommend a rust inhibitor be added to the system. In February of 2019 the boiler was still overfilling, we found the fill line at the boiler was full of rust and debris, we removed piping to clean and replaced. A boiler cleaning agent was recommend to do at the end of the heating season. In March of 2019 we found the pressure siphon tube was plugged with rust and replaced this. October of 2019 we completed a tune and check and replaced the thermocouple for the burner. In January 2020, we found the water fill strainer was full of rust again causing fill issues, this was replaced. In May of 2020 we found the condensate return line was blocked with sediment, we cleaned this out and flushed the piping, returned to operation."
The installation we very good. We are very happy with our new Wood Burner it heats very good and we are ready for winter now!!!
