Henry and his crew did an excellent job for us. There was a torrential rain after our old garage was demolished and when we let him know that there was a pool of water in that space, he sent out a dump truck of dirt to absorb the moisture. The crew worked very hard to get everything right and it was a bit tricky since we had a new driveway poured a week earlier by another contractor. GCW needed to make sure the ramping matched up with the driveway as well as the doorway aprons. We also have overhead doors on both sides of the garage so they had to take that into account as far as making sure water would drain from both sides. Henry was very responsive to my concerns and also those of my neighbor who shares our driveway. He made two additional trips out after the pad was done to check out a low spot and some surface crumbling along the foundation and addressed both issues to my satisfaction. The real test came two weeks ago when we received record rainfall in our area. We had a garage sale that weekend and even with the overhead doors open on both sides, the water didn't penetrate into the garage more than a foot and drained out as soon as the doors were closed.
Description of Work: GCW was the concrete subcontractor that poured the concrete pad for our new garage. The cost was covered in the larger contract for the garage so I don't know the individual cost for the concrete work.
